The header and the bottom bar on a phone

On a phone the header is shorter: on the left the AURA logo with the name of the direction and an arrow under it («Design»), on the right the Aura Guide icon, the «Tasks» icon with its counter, «Chats» and the balance (a pendant icon and a number). There is no avatar: its role belongs to the «More» cell at the bottom, and the search opens with «Create» in the middle of the bottom bar.

At the bottom there is a bar of five cells, with «Create» always in the middle. Design: «Home», «Projects», «Create», «Library», «More». Production: «Orders», «Products», «Create», «Calculation» (that is the «Calculator»), «More». Floristry: «Home», «Projects», «Create», «Catalog», «More». In the dashboard of a rental company: «Overview», «Products», «Create» (here it adds a product), «Inquiries», «More». The bar has the short words: «Projects» is «My projects» of the header, «Orders» is «My orders». The AURA app has the same header and bar.

  1. Tap «More» at the bottom: a sheet opens from below with the same rows as the menu under the avatar on a computer. The bar stays under the sheet, and «More» on it is highlighted.
  2. Tap «Create» in the middle: the window with goals and a search field opens, where you can find a project, a plan, a task or a document.
  • A dot on «More» means there are unread «AURA news».
  • A guest sees «AURA» and a «Menu» button at the top, and «Home», «Catalog», «Create», «Gallery» and «Sign in» at the bottom.
  • When you tap a field and the keyboard opens, the page does not shift. The bottom bar, the buttons at the bottom of the screen and the cookie banner hide while the keyboard is open and come back when it closes. The chat input sits right above the keyboard. Windows and sheets with fields, such as «New project», shrink to the visible part of the screen. If a window's buttons do not fit, scroll the window or close the keyboard with «Done». The screen does not zoom in by itself when you tap a field, and you can still zoom with two fingers.

The direction switcher

The switcher sits right next to the logo. «Design», «Production» and «Floristry» are the three directions of AURA: each has its own three sections in the header, its own home page and its own set of goals in the «Create» window. Projects, tasks, documents and the balance are shared.

From 1280 pixels it is three buttons in a row, the current one highlighted in light purple. If the window is narrower, one button with the name of the current direction takes their place: click it and choose in the «AURA direction» menu. On a phone the name of the direction is written under the logo: tap it and choose in the «Choose a direction» sheet. A closed direction is marked «Soon».

  • Your choice is remembered on your account: another computer and the AURA app open the same direction. More in the article «AURA directions: Design, Production and Floristry».

Create and search

«Create» in the header, the search in the header (the field or the magnifier icon) and «Create» in the bottom bar of a phone all open the same «Create» window. The window has no separate title on the screen, and a screen reader reads it as «Create or find». Ctrl + K (Cmd + K on a Mac) opens it from any page.

At the top of the window is the field «What do you want to do? For example: seat the guests», and under it the goals of the «What do you want to do» block. In Design there are six: «New project», «Visualize the hall» (with its price beside it), «Build a plan and seating», «Open the hall in 3D», «3D model from a photo» (with its price beside it), «Add a task». In Production the first ones are «Production order», «Product», «3D model from a photo», «Calculation in the calculator» and «Add a task». In Floristry: «Visualization with floristry», «Floristry collage», «Palette board», «New project» and «Add a task».

  1. Click «Create» or press Ctrl + K (Cmd + K on a Mac).
  2. Choose a goal with the up and down arrows and press Enter, or click or tap the row. The first goal is already selected.
  3. If a goal needs a project, for example «Open the hall in 3D» outside a project, the window asks «In which project?»: choose a project or «New project». The «Back» arrow returns to the goals.
  4. To open the other goals, click the row that starts with «More», for example «More: idea board, document, presentation, showing to the client, production order». «Show the client» asks for the project if you are not in one. Esc closes the window.
  • Until you type anything, «Recent» stands under the goals: the latest items, for example a floor plan or an estimate, with the name of the project.
  • When you start typing, the goals are matched by the words and below them appear the projects, floor plans, tasks, documents and visualizations found. What was found in your direction comes first, the rest stands under the heading «Other directions», and «Search everywhere» opens everything. If nothing is found, the window says «Nothing found» and offers «Ask Aura Guide».
  • If you can only read or comment in a project, «Create» is inactive: a hint «You have read-only access. Ask the project owner» appears on hover.
  • At the bottom of the window there is always «Ask Aura Guide»: it will tell you how to do what is not among the goals.

The «More» menu

«More» is the menu under your avatar on a computer and a sheet from below on a phone. The rows are the same in both, so everything you do not need in the header every day is in one place.

The rows in order: «Profile», «My studio», «Team» (the team seats on the «Balance» page), «Balance» (your remaining balance on the right), «Prices»; «AURA news» (the number of unread notes on the right), «Help», «Aura Guide»; «All tools»; «Language» (RU, EN or ES on the right) and «Sign out». At the top are your name and e-mail, and on a phone a card with your name that opens «Profile».

An administrator also gets «Administration», and the account of a rental company gets «Rental company dashboard». Inside these dashboards the menu has «Back to the studio».

  1. On a computer click the avatar at the right of the header, on a phone tap «More» in the bottom bar.
  2. Click the row you need. To change the language, click «Language» and choose a language from the list. «Sign out» ends your session.
  • A dot on the avatar (on a phone, on «More») means there are unread «AURA news». More in the article «What's new: notes about updates».
  • The theme is switched on the «Profile» page in the «My preferences» block; the «More» menu does not have it.
  • While the balance is loading, a grey strip stands on the right of «Balance» instead of the number. If the balance is switched off for you, the menu has no «Balance» row.

All tools

The lists across all projects, the library and the production sections that are not in the header or the bottom bar are gathered on the «All tools» page: open «More» → «All tools». Frequent actions stay in the «Create» window.

Aura Guide and «?»

Aura Guide has its own icon in the header of every screen: a circle with a speech bubble and a spark. On ordinary pages it is next to the search and «Tasks», on full-screen tools and on the board on the right of the top bar, and in the 3D scene it is the last icon of the scene's bottom bar. The caption «Aura Guide» appears when you point at it or reach it with the Tab key. The «Aura Guide» row in the «More» menu and «Ask Aura Guide» at the bottom of the «Create» window open it too. There is no floating button on the screen.

The «?» by a page title (in the top right corner) opens the help article about that page, for a signed-in person and for a guest. Aura Guide knows which page you are on and answers about it, but it opens only with its own icon.

  • The small «?» hints beside some headings and buttons explain that one button: press «?» to read, and the cross or Esc closes the hint. More in the article «Aura Guide and help».
