AURA

Home: next step, search and «Create»

The Home page shows one next step for your project, five goals, the things you worked on last and today's tasks. A newcomer with no projects makes a first visualization from Home in three actions. The «Create or find» window searches by name and leads to the main jobs: a new project, a visualization, a plan and seating, the hall in 3D, a task. In the AURA app for iPhone, Home is the first tab.

Home page

  1. Click «Home» in the site header, or in the bottom bar on a phone. The AURA logo leads to the AURA home page: from there «Continue working» brings you back to Home.
  2. At the top there is a greeting and a short summary: how many days are left until the nearest event and how many tasks are due today. The «?» circle beside the greeting opens the help article about this page, and the Aura Guide icon in the header opens the guide.
  3. There is one dark «What's next» card on the page. AURA takes the nearest project that has a next step and says what to do, for example «Gather ideas on a board» or «Answer the client’s remarks». The button on the right leads straight to the right place in the project. Under it are the five steps of the project: «Idea», «Look», «Space», «Preparation» and «For the client». Finished steps say «done», the current one «now», a begun one «started». On a phone there is a single line «Step 2 of 5: look» instead of the row.
  4. «Later» removes this step from Home and shows the next one. The choice is remembered in this browser and does not travel to other devices. If everything is put off, «The steps you put off are hidden.» and a «Show again» button appear under the greeting.
  5. «What do you want to do?» holds seven goals when the studio already has projects: «Visualize the hall», «Build a board», «Build a plan and seating», «Visualize in 3D», «Create a 3D model», «Build an estimate» and «Show the client». «Build a board» opens the idea board of the project, «Visualize in 3D» opens the project's hall in 3D from the plan with tables (this goal used to be called «Open the hall in 3D»). The goals are always in view, even when that step of the project is already done. «Create a 3D model» opens the «3D model from a photo» form in «Items in 3D» right away. On a wide screen the goals stand in two rows of four and three, on a tablet three in a row, on a phone as a list. Click the one you need and AURA opens the page for that job. If a goal belongs to a project and there are several projects, AURA first asks «For which project?»: the projects of Home come first, then all your other active projects, and with many of them there is a «Find a project» field. If there is one project, AURA opens it at once. Goals your account does not have are not shown. While there are no projects, the set is different; it is described in the section «A first visualization in three actions».
  6. «Continue working» shows the three most recently changed items: a floor plan, a visualization, an estimate, a document, an idea board or a presentation. A row opens the item where it lives, usually inside its project. Under a plan there are the links «Seat the guests» and «View in 3D», under an estimate «Show the client». On a phone one row is visible, and «2 more» opens the rest.
  7. «Today and soon» shows your three nearest open tasks with a date, the most urgent first; today's and overdue ones are highlighted. The checkmark closes a task; «Add a task» creates a new one assigned to «you» and due tomorrow (you can change or remove the date, but a task without a date will not appear here); «All tasks» (it appears when there are more than three tasks) opens the task lists. You cannot tick off a task from a list you can only view: next to the date it says «view only». On a phone the block is folded under a heading with the number of tasks, and with no tasks it is not there.
  8. Right under the greeting is «Create project»: type the name and click «Create project», and the passport of the new project opens. The line under the field says which steps AURA offers next. Below it is «My projects»: up to three projects with the date, the days left and the current step, for example «Now: look», and «All projects (N)» with the full list. Under the goals is the «My studio» card: the «Open My studio» button leads to the studio's shared section with all projects of every direction, tasks, documents, boards, plans, estimates and templates.

A first visualization in three actions

  1. If you have no projects yet, the top of Home has a dark card «Show how your hall will look» with a «before and after» example. Click «Upload a hall photo» and choose a photo: JPEG, PNG, WebP or HEIC, up to 20 MB.
  2. The window «First visualization» opens: your photo, the «Project name» field (it says «My first project», and you can replace the name) and a «Frame style» row with a «Choose» button. You can leave the frame style (light, colour and mood) unchosen.
  3. Click «Create visualization». If the visualization is paid from the balance, the price in pendants stands beside it on the button; if it is included in the subscription or was paid for earlier, there is no price. The project is created together with the shot, and you go to the page where it is being generated. The first visualization takes about a minute.
  • Beside the «Upload a hall photo» button (under it on a phone) it says what a visualization costs and how much you have on your balance. If there are not enough pendants, the «Top up the wallet» button stands in its place and leads to the «Balance» page.
  • AURA picks the furniture for the first visualization by itself: up to three popular items from the catalog. You can swap them on the result page.
  • If the generation did not start, click «Retry»: the project is already created and a second one will not appear. If the catalog has no furniture yet, the window says «The catalog has no furniture for a first visualization yet» and offers «Open the wizard»; you will have to choose the photo again there.
  • Until you answer, a «What do you do?» line with the buttons «Design and styling», «Production», «Floristry» and «Skip» stands below the card. «Production» and «Floristry» open their home pages at once. The choice is saved on your account, so the question does not come back on another device; «Skip» keeps Design. When the studio gets its first project, the line goes away.
  • Under the card there is «What do you want to do?», but a newcomer has goals of their own: «New project», «Visualize the hall», «Build a board», «Build a plan and seating», «Visualize in 3D» and «Add a task». The goals «Build an estimate» and «Show the client» belong to a project, so they appear on Home once the studio has one.
  • The finished shot is in the project «My first project». On the next visit to Home the «What's next» card shows the next step of that project.

If Home looks different

  • If Home did not load, «Could not load the home page.» and a «Retry» button stand above the blocks. The five goals stay where they are.
  • If the steps of the project did not load, the «What's next» card offers to open the project itself with the «Open the project» button. When every step is done, the card says «Everything is ready for the event» and leads to the tasks with «Open tasks».
  • If you have access only to chosen frames of a project (you are a client), a card with the «Open the frames» button stands in place of «What's next», and there are no goals or tasks.
  • If you only read or comment on other people's projects and have made none of your own, there is no «What's next» card and no goals, because they create things. What remains is «My projects», «Continue working» without the extra links and the «My studio» card.
  • The «First steps in AURA» block with its «Hide the first steps» cross is no longer on Home: it was replaced by the «What's next» card and, for a newcomer, «Show how your hall will look». The old «Projects» block is gone too: all projects open from «My projects» in the header, and the latest projects with their dates are shown by the «My projects» block under «Create project». «Saved work» is now called «My templates» and lives in «Library»; there is no «Saved work» card on Home.
  • With the «Keep it simple in Design» beta, the «Keep it simple: make it from your own pictures» card stands under the goals: a board where your own products and pictures become one finished picture, and «My pictures» with the latest boards.

Home in the AURA app

  1. In the AURA app for iPhone, Home is the first tab at the bottom of the screen. It is built as on the website: a greeting, the «What's next» card, «What do you want to do?», «Continue working», «Today and soon» and «Upcoming events».
  2. For a newcomer with no projects, the top is the «Show how your hall will look» card: «Upload a hall photo» opens the gallery, «Take a photo» takes a picture, and then come the same three actions as on the website.
  3. At the bottom of the screen there is a bar of five tabs. In Design they are «Home», «Projects», «Create», «Library» and «More»; in Production and Floristry the first, second and fourth tabs are their own. «Create» in the middle opens the same «Create or find» window as on the website.
  4. At the top left are AURA and, if directions are on, the direction button. At the right there are two icons: the magnifier opens search, and «Tasks» leads to the list of tasks; the number on the icon is the tasks due today and overdue.
  5. «More» opens a sheet with rows such as «Profile», «Team», «Balance», «Prices», «AURA news», «Help», «Aura Guide», «All tools» and «Sign out».
  6. The lists across all projects («Visualizations», «Floor plans», «Idea boards», «Documents», «Presentations») and the parts of the library are on the «All tools» page. The «Presentations» row is always there: if the section is not open to you, it has a «Beta» mark, and tapping it explains that presentations are still in beta and available by invitation.
  • The app's Home used to have the tiles «Studio library» and «Studio tools», and the tabs were called «Studio», «Projects», «Catalog», «Tasks» and «More». The tiles are gone: the lists are on the «All tools» page, «Tasks» became an icon at the top, and «Catalog» opens from «Library».
  • More about the top row, the bottom bar and the «More» menu in the article «The header, the direction switcher, «Create» and «More»». On the website on a phone the bar is the same.

Good to know

  • The «Studio» menu on the left is gone. The header holds «My projects», «Home» and «Library», «Tasks» is an icon with a counter next to the search, and «Profile», «Balance», «AURA news» and «Help» are in the «More» menu under your avatar. The star icon «What's new» is gone too: the news open from «More» as «AURA news», and a dot on the avatar says there are unread ones. More in the article «The header, the direction switcher, «Create» and «More»».
  • Search and «Continue working» show only what you can open: your own materials and the materials of projects you were invited to. A client who sees only selected shots does not see them.
  • On the website on a phone there is a permanent bar at the bottom of the screen: «Home», «Projects», «Create», «Library» and «More». «Create» in the middle opens the «Create or find» window, and «More» opens a sheet with the same rows as the menu under the avatar on a computer. «Tasks» stays an icon at the top. While the keyboard is open, the bar is hidden.
  • «Library» has five parts: «Catalog», «Frame styles», «AURA Gallery» (the public library of concepts, formerly «AURA library»), «Items in 3D» (formerly «3D models») and «My templates» (formerly «Saved work»). The lists across all projects (visualizations, floor plans, idea boards, documents, presentations) are on the «All tools» page: «More» → «All tools».
  • If directions are on for you, the switcher «Design», «Production» and «Floristry» stands next to the logo, and each direction has its own home page: «Home» in Design, «My orders» in Production, «Home» in Floristry. This article is about the Design Home; the rest is in the article «AURA directions: Design, Production and Floristry».
  • Since 13.10.2026 the «Continue working» block has this name instead of «Pick up where you left off»; what it holds has not changed: the three most recently changed items. Do not confuse it with the «Continue working» button on the AURA home page: that button leads here, to Home.
