AURA news: notes about updates

Short notes about what has appeared and changed in AURA (formerly «What's new»). The dot on the avatar and the number on the «AURA news» row of the menu show how many notes you have not read yet, and after an update the notes are shown once in a window.

Where to read the notes

  1. Open the menu under your avatar at the right of the header (on a phone, «More» at the bottom) and choose «AURA news». The number on the row shows how many notes you have not read yet, and the dot on the avatar tells you there are new ones.
  2. The «AURA news» page opens: «This week» with the notes by day at the top, «Earlier» below. Unread ones are marked with the word «New» (a dot on a phone). «Show more» opens older notes. Above the list there are three filters: «All», «For my work» (hides notes only about another workplace; it is there when the directions «Design», «Production» and «Floristry» are on for you) and «Money and access» (notes about the balance, sales and the account).
  3. A note counts as read once it has been on screen for a moment, and the number on the avatar goes down note by note; «Mark all as read» marks them all at once. The «Details: …» button under a note opens a help article.
  4. You can also open the page from the knowledge base: the «AURA news» button at the top of the «Help» page.

The window after an update

After an AURA update, on your first visit the new notes are shown in the «What's new in AURA» window. «Got it» closes the window and marks the shown notes as read, «All updates» opens the «AURA news» page.

  • The window opens by itself no more than once a week, even if notes come out more often. The rest waits on the «AURA news» page.
  • The window does not open over the board, the plan editor, the 3D scene, a presentation or client pages.
  • While a new studio has no projects, the window does not open by itself, and notes released before registration do not count as new.
  • The «read» mark is kept in the account, so the number is the same on a phone and a computer.
  • A note about a beta tool (production, hall in 3D, presentations, zones and chats) is visible to those who have the tool open. If access is opened later, the note appears and is marked «New».
