Chats: channels, direct messages and project chats

«Chats» is the work messenger of AURA for the whole team and every direction: team channels, direct messages, groups of up to 15 people and project chats with subgroups and board zones. In a chat you reply with a quote, pin messages, react, and send voice messages with their text, photos, videos and files. A contractor is invited by a link into the chat they need only: the project and the prices stay hidden. Chats are in beta.

Where to find Chats

Chats are shared by every direction of AURA: Design, Production and Floristry. An account has one set of messages, like its projects and wallet, and the page opens in the look of the direction you work in.

  1. Click «Chats» in the header next to «Tasks». The number on the button shows the chats with unread messages, and the «@» sign means someone mentioned you. When the header is short of space, the button becomes an icon.
  2. The same «Chats» row with its counter is in the «More» menu, and in Production also in the left column.
  3. In a project, the «Project chats» button opens the chats of this project at the side (see «Project chats» below).
  4. On a computer, the list of chats is on the left, the feed in the middle and «Chat details» on the right (the «i» button in the chat header). On a narrow screen the details slide over the feed. On a phone the list and the chat open one after the other, and the «Back to the list of chats» arrow returns to the list.
  • Chats are in beta. Channels, direct messages, groups and invitation links appear when they are turned on for your studio. Until then the list shows «Chats are not open for your account yet. The owner of the studio turns them on».
  • The counter in the header counts all your chats with unread messages except the chats set to «No notifications», whatever the direction filter. On the site the number of unread chats is also in the title of the browser tab, for example «(3) AURA».
  • In the AURA app on a phone there is a «Chats» tab at the bottom with the number of chats with unread messages. It appears once you have at least one chat.

The chat window: minimize and come back

A chat opened from any page of AURA (a browser notification, a link to a chat in a task, a document or on a board) opens as a window over that page, not over the whole screen. The page under the window keeps working.

  1. On a computer the window stands at the bottom right: it is larger than the Aura Guide window but does not cover the whole page. If the Aura Guide or «Do it for me» is open, the chat window moves to the left of it.
  2. Press «Minimize chat» in the chat header, and the window folds into a bar at the bottom of the screen with the chat name and the number of new messages. Esc also minimizes the window. Press the bar, and the same chat opens again.
  3. «×» in the window header or on the bar closes the chat. The «Expand to full page» icon opens this chat in «Chats» with the list on the left.
  4. The «Chats» page has «Minimize chat» too: the chat folds into the bar and you return to the page where you were. If the chat was opened from a Telegram or email link in a new tab, the home page of your direction opens.
  5. On a phone the chat window takes almost the whole screen, and «Minimize chat» stands above the header. The bar sits above the bottom bar.
  6. In the AURA phone app, «Minimize chat» in the chat header returns you to the screen you came from and leaves the chat bar above the bottom bar. Tapping the bar opens the chat, «×» removes the bar.
  • The window and the bar stay as you move between pages and after a reload on this device. On the «Chats» page the window hides: the chats are already open on the page itself.

Kinds of chats

«Chats» has six kinds of conversation. Messages, voice messages, photos, replies and search work the same way in all of them.

  • «Whole project»: the chat of the whole project team. It appears by itself and cannot be deleted.
  • Project subgroups: «Decor», «Equipment», «Catering», «Printing», «Floristry», «Logistics» or a name of your own. The project coordinator creates a subgroup, and only the people added to it are in it.
  • Board zones: the chats of board frames (see the article about board zones). If the frame is removed from the board, the messages do not disappear: the chat stays among the subgroups marked «The frame is no longer on the board».
  • Team channels: shared chats outside projects, for example «Workshop», «Warehouse» or «Florists». Every team has the «General» channel: all team members are in it, and it cannot be deleted.
  • Direct messages: a conversation of two people.
  • Groups: up to 15 people including you, without a project or a team. The name is optional: without one the group is named after its members.

Who sees what

  • «Whole project» is seen by the owner and the members the whole project is open to, including those who work only in their own zones. A client who has been given only chosen options does not see the project chats.
  • The project coordinator (the owner or an editor of the whole project without the «Own zones only» mark) sees all project chats, creates subgroups and manages them. Others see only the subgroups and zones they have been added to.
  • Team members find an open channel under «New message» → «Team channels» and join it themselves; people get into a closed one only by invitation. A team guest sees only the channels given to them and does not see «General».
  • A chat guest (a contractor who came by a link or with a «Chats only» invitation) sees only the chats given to them. The project, the board, the estimates and the prices are closed to them, and they do not take an editor seat.
  • You can message or add to a group the people you share a team or a chat with. Chats never show people's email addresses.
  • Members allowed to comment on the project can write in a project chat. Others see «You can only read this chat».

New message, group and channel

  1. Above the list of chats, click the «New message» pencil and choose «Direct message», «Group», «Channel» or «Team channels». While you have no chats, the list offers «Message a colleague» and «Create a channel».
  2. Direct message: find the person by name and click «Write». If you already have a conversation with them, it opens.
  3. Group: tick 2 to 14 people (a group holds up to 15 including you), enter a «Group name» if you like and click «Create a group». If only one person is ticked, the window offers «Write directly».
  4. Channel: in the «New channel» window, enter the «Title» and the «Topic», choose the «Direction» («Design», «Production», «Floristry» or «Everyone») and «Who sees the channel»: «Open» or «Closed». Tick «Who to invite» and click «Create a channel». The author becomes the channel admin.
  5. «Team channels» shows the open channels of your teams. Click «Join» and the channel opens. A channel you are already in opens with «Open». Closed channels are not in this list: the channel admins invite people to them.
  • Any team member except a guest can create a channel. Channel names do not repeat within a team, and a team has up to 200 channels.
  • Use «Find a chat or a person» above the list to find a chat or a person.

The team and a new employee

The team is the people of your account you talk to in channels. Editors of your projects who see the prices join it by themselves. A team seat is free and does not open any project.

  1. The owner and the team admins find «Team» at the bottom of the list of chats. The team page has the lists «Team members», «Admins» and «Guests» (a guest's channels are shown next to them). Team members see the same lists without the buttons.
  2. «Add from projects and tasks»: tick the people of your projects and «Tasks» boards who are not in the team yet and click «Add». They join the «General» channel.
  3. Invite a new employee who has no project yet with «Invite to team»: «By email» (a letter with a link valid for 7 days) or «By link» (copy it and send it in Telegram). The person becomes a team member and joins «General».
  4. In the menu next to a person: «Make admin» or «Remove admin rights» (only the owner can do this) and «Remove from team». A removed person leaves the team's channels; their access to projects does not change.
  5. «Invitation links» shows the active links, and «Revoke» closes a link.
  • You can invite people only with a confirmed email, otherwise you see «Confirm your email to invite people».
  • If you are in several teams, choose the one you need at the top of the team page.
  • The «Team» row in the «More» menu leads to «Balance», to the reserve for editors, while the team for chats lives on this page. From here «The reserve for editors in the wallet» leads to «Balance».
  • A team has up to 300 members and up to 100 guests.

Project chats

  1. Open the project and click «Project chats» in its header (the number shows the chats with unread messages). A list opens at the side: «Whole project», «Subgroups» and «Board zones» if the project has a board.
  2. Click a chat and it opens right in the panel. «Open in Chats» expands it to the whole screen, and «All chats» leads to the chats of this project in «Chats» (the «Project chats» plaque above the list).
  3. While the «Project chats» plaque is on, the list stays narrowed in an open chat too, and «Back» on a phone returns to the project chats. «×» on the plaque shows every chat.
  4. The coordinator creates a subgroup with «New subgroup»: the «Title» (up to 80 characters), the «Kind», the «Color» and the ticks of «Who is in the subgroup». Click «Create subgroup».
  • The «Project chats» button is seen by the owner, editors, commenters and viewers the whole project is open to. It does not need a board.
  • A project has up to 60 chats including «Whole project» and the board zones.
  • Links to chats from Telegram and from «Copy link» lead to «Chats» and open the chat right at the message.

The list of chats and the direction filter

  1. Chats are sorted into the sections «Favorites», «Channels», «Projects» and «Direct messages» (direct messages and groups). If you are in several teams, the «Channels» section groups the channels under the name of each team. Clicking a heading folds the section. At the top of a section are the chats where someone mentioned or replied to you, then the unread ones, then the most recent.
  2. The chips above the list: «All», «Unread», «Mentions» and the chip of your direction, for example «Production» (it is there when the directions of AURA are on for you).
  3. The direction chip is on by itself. It keeps the project chats of this direction, the channels marked with it and «Everyone», and it never hides direct messages, groups or chats where someone mentioned or replied to you. A click turns the filter off, and the choice is remembered on this device.
  4. If the filter hides something unread, a line under the chips says how many unread chats are in other directions, with a «Show» button.
  5. The «⋯» above the list has «Mark all as read». The menu of a chat row has «Add to favorites», and direct messages and groups also have «Hide»: the chat leaves the list and comes back with the next message.
  • A Production order belongs to Production, other projects to Design. A project with floristry is seen in Floristry too, as is the «Floristry» subgroup.

Finding chats and shortcuts

  1. Press Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on a Mac) and start typing a name: the «Chats» group shows the matching chats, and «Search «…» in messages» opens the search across all conversations.
  2. On the «Chats» page Alt+↓ and Alt+↑ go to the next and the previous chat of the list, and Alt+Shift+↓ and Alt+Shift+↑ only to chats with something unread.

Messages and the message field

  1. Type the text (up to 4000 characters) and press Enter or «Send». Shift+Enter starts a new line; on a phone Enter always starts a new line. The draft of every chat is kept on this device.
  2. «@» opens the «Whom to mention» list with a search among the people of the chat. «@all» mentions every member of the chat: the coordinator in a project chat, the admins in a channel and everyone in a group can use it. Direct messages have no «@all».
  3. The «Attach» paper clip opens «Photo or video», «File» and «Dictate text». You can drag files into the feed or paste a picture from the clipboard (Ctrl+V). A message holds up to 10 attachments and a caption.
  4. While the field is empty, the microphone «Record a voice message» is on the right, and on a phone also the camera «Take a photo or video».
  5. The up arrow in an empty field edits your last message, and Esc cancels a reply or an edit.
  • A chat opens at the first unread message with the «New messages» line. The «Down» button shows the number of new ones. Links in messages open in a new tab; there are no link previews.
  • If a message did not go, it is marked «Not sent» with «Retry» and «Delete». A retry never makes a duplicate. Without a connection a strip over the field says «No connection. Messages will be sent when the connection is back».
  • A deleted message stays as the line «Message deleted», and its text and files are erased for everyone at once. The grey lines in the middle (who joined by a link, who was added, how the chat was renamed) are written by AURA itself and cannot be edited or deleted.
  • In direct messages and groups your messages carry marks: one tick «Sent», two ticks «Read». In a group a click shows who has read it. Channels and project chats have no ticks.

Voice messages and their transcript

  1. Click the microphone to the right of the empty field. Before your first voice message AURA tells you once what happens to the recording: click «Got it».
  2. While recording you see the timer and a live wave. «Cancel» deletes the recording, «Send» sends it at once, and «Stop» stops the recording: then «Listen», «Delete» or «Send».
  3. A recording lasts up to 10 minutes. 30 seconds before the limit the timer turns orange and shows the time left; at the limit the recording stops by itself. While you record, the screen stays on where the browser can do that.
  4. A voice message in the feed has a play button, a wave (a click rewinds), the length and the speed 1x, 1.5x or 2x. Voice messages play one at a time, and the next unheard one from the same author starts by itself.
  5. Under a voice message is the «Text» line: the beginning of the transcript and «Show all». Until the text is ready you see «Preparing the recording…» or «Transcribing…». If the transcript failed, the author can click «Retry transcription».
  • A voice message is kept in the chat, the chat members hear it, and its author can delete it. The text is made by a speech recognition service AURA sends the recording to.
  • The transcript is free: up to 60 minutes of voice messages a day per author. Beyond that a voice message goes without text, marked «Transcript unavailable: daily limit reached».
  • Search finds a voice message by the text of its transcript.
  • A voice message is not the same as «Dictate text» in the paper clip menu: dictation only puts words into the field, and no audio is kept. Nor is it the «Brief from a voice recording» of the project documents: that one records a talk with a client and makes a brief from it.

Photos, videos and files

  1. Click the «Attach» paper clip and choose «Photo or video» or «File», drag files into the feed or paste a picture from the clipboard. The attachments line up above the field with a preview, the upload and «×».
  2. A photo goes reduced to 2560 px, without its geotag and camera data. To send the original unchanged, tick «Send as a file» on the photo.
  3. The photos and videos of a message form an album, with «+N» on the last tile when there are more than four. A click opens the full-screen viewer: browse with the arrows or a swipe, zoom with the mouse wheel, a double click or a pinch. «Download» saves the original, «Go to the message» returns to the feed, and Esc closes the viewer.
  4. A video plays right in the feed; you can expand it to the full screen and rewind it.
  • Photos: JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and HEIF up to 25 MB; iPhone photos in HEIC are accepted from a computer too. Documents and other files up to 25 MB.
  • Videos: MP4, MOV or WebM up to 200 MB and up to 10 minutes. A video uploads in parts and carries on after the connection drops. While AURA prepares a video for viewing, its tile says «Preparing the video…».
  • A video over 200 MB is not accepted: send it from the AURA app on an iPhone (it compresses the video) or shorten it. If a video could not be prepared, its tile says «The video could not be prepared for viewing, you can download it».
  • Chat attachments do not count toward a project's file limit. All the chats one account is responsible for (the chats of its projects, the channels of its team, its direct messages and groups) hold up to 20 GB.

Reply, pin, reactions and search

  1. Hover over a message (on a phone, press and hold it): «Reply», «Reaction» and «⋯» with «Pin message» or «Unpin message», «Edit» and «Delete» (your own), «Copy text» and «Copy link».
  2. A reply shows the quote above the field with «×» to change your mind. In the feed, clicking a quote leads to the original message and highlights it for a moment.
  3. A chat holds up to 10 pinned messages. The strip above the feed shows one, for example «Pinned 2 of 5»: a click leads to the message and moves the strip to the next one, and the list icon opens «All pinned».
  4. Reactions: thumbs up, heart, laughter, fire, check mark and eyes. Clicking a reaction under a message puts it or takes it back, and hovering tells how many people put it.
  5. The «Search in chat» magnifier (on a phone a line of «⋯» in the chat header) searches this chat from 2 characters. To search all chats, type a word into «Find a chat or a person» and click the line that searches the messages for it: up to 50 results, transcripts of voice messages included.
  6. The «@ Me» chip above the feed keeps the messages where someone mentioned you, replied to you or wrote «@all».
  • The coordinator in a project chat, the admins in a channel and any member of a direct message or a group can pin. The coordinator in a project chat and the admins in a channel can delete other people's messages.
  • «Copy link» gives a link that opens the chat right at this message for anyone who is in the chat.

Replies in a thread

A thread gathers the discussion of one message and keeps the main feed of the chat clean.

  1. Hover over a message (on a phone, press and hold), open «⋯» and choose «Reply in thread».
  2. The thread opens beside or over the chat: the original message on top, the replies below. Write a reply and press Enter or «Send».
  3. Under a message with a thread you see «3 replies», the faces of those who answered and the time of the last reply. Press it to open the thread.
  4. «Back to the chat» or Esc closes the thread.
  • The author of the message and everyone who replied in the thread are notified of a new reply. For the others, replies in a thread do not raise the counter.
  • The search in a chat and across all chats also finds replies in threads: pressing one opens its thread.

Forward a message

  1. Open «⋯» of a message and choose «Forward».
  2. Tick up to 10 chats you can write in (search by name), add a comment of your own if you like and press «Forward».
  3. A copy appears in the chosen chats marked «Forwarded from «…» · author».
  • Photos, videos, voice messages and files are copied into each chat: if the original is deleted, the copy stays.
  • You can forward only where you may write. The mentions of the original are not carried over.

Polls

  1. In the message field press the paperclip «Attach» and choose «Poll».
  2. Write the question and 2 to 10 answer options. Tick «Several answers allowed» or «Anonymous poll» if needed and press «Send the poll».
  3. Members vote by pressing an option (with several, they tick and press «Vote»). After voting they see the shares and, in an open poll, the names.
  4. «Change the vote» removes the choice. «Close the poll» is offered to its author and to whoever manages the chat.
  • An anonymous poll shows only the number of votes. Everyone who can write in the chat votes.

Send later and reminders

  1. Write a message, press the paperclip «Attach» and choose «Send later». Pick «In an hour», «Tomorrow at 9:00» or your own date and time and press «Schedule».
  2. A line «1 scheduled message» appears above the feed: press it to see the time and «Cancel».
  3. Not to forget to answer, open «⋯» of a message and choose «Remind me…»: in 20 minutes, an hour, 3 hours, tomorrow at 9:00, in a week or at your own time.
  4. At that moment a «Reminder» push arrives and the chat shows a mention. Under the message you see «Reminder …», «Remove the reminder» takes it off.
  • A scheduled message is sent in your name at the chosen time. If by then you may no longer write in the chat, it is not sent and the line shows why.
  • In the app «Send later» and «Poll» are under «+» to the left of the message field. Your own time is typed as «20.10 14:30».

Online and recently online

  1. In a direct chat the name is followed by «online», «recently online» or «online yesterday at 18:20». In the list of chats a person online has a green dot.
  2. The details of a chat show whether each member is online now.
  • The status is seen only by those who can write to you: teammates and members of shared chats.
  • To hide your status, turn off «Show that I am online» in «Profile» → «My preferences» → «Chats: online, quiet hours and emails».

Notes to self

  1. «Notes to self» stands on top of the list of chats: a chat with you only.
  2. Write thoughts, links, photos and voice messages there and forward important messages from other chats.
  • Nobody but you sees the notes, and there are no notifications about them.

Archive of channels

  1. An admin of the channel or the team opens the details of the channel and presses «Archive».
  2. The channel leaves the list and becomes read-only. It can be found in the «Archive» section at the bottom of the list of chats.
  3. «Restore from archive» in the «Archive» section or in the channel details returns it to the list.
  • The «General» channel cannot be archived. The messages of an archived channel are kept.

Chat details

  1. Click «i» in the chat header, on a phone «⋯» and «Chat details». On a computer «Chat details» open on the right, on a phone over the whole screen.
  2. Those who manage the chat change its name and topic: «Change the name and topic».
  3. The members list with a search and roles («Coordinator», «Channel admin», «Guest»). «Add» and «Remove» are for those who manage the chat, and in a group any member can add people.
  4. «Notifications»: «All messages», «Only mentions and replies» or «No notifications». Unread messages still show in the list, except with «No notifications». The bell in the chat header changes the same setting.
  5. «Add to favorites» lifts the chat into «Favorites». «Invite by link» and «Invite by email» (in a project chat only) invite people; see the section about contractors.
  6. The tabs «Media», «Files», «Voice messages» and «Pinned» gather everything from this chat. From «Media» the viewer browses all photos and videos of the chat.
  7. «Leave channel» and «Leave group» take you out of the chat. You cannot leave «General».
  8. Subgroups, zones and channels have «Delete chat»: type the name of the chat to confirm. The chat is deleted with its messages, voice messages, photos and files and cannot be restored. «Whole project» and «General» cannot be deleted.
  • Who manages a chat: the coordinator in a project chat; in a channel its author (the channel admin), the owner and the team admins; in a group every member.

Contractors: by email and by link

A contractor, the workshop or a florist can be invited into the chats they need only. The project, the board, the estimates and the prices stay hidden from them, they do not take an editor seat, and the members of those chats see their name.

  1. In the details of a project chat click «Invite by link» or «Invite by email» (the coordinator can do this). In the invitation window choose «Group link» or «By email».
  2. «By email»: a project invitation opens with «Chats only» on and the chat ticked. Check «Which chats will open» and send the invitation. The link in the letter is valid for 7 days.
  3. «Group link»: set «Duration, days» (14 by default, up to 30), «Joins» (30 by default, up to 50) and tick «Into which chats» it leads. Click «Create link» and «Copy». The link is shown only now: send it in Telegram or by email.
  4. Below are the «Active links» with their joins and dates, and «Revoke» closes a link. In «Who joined by the link» every person has a «Remove» button.
  5. In a team channel its admin or a team admin invites people by link the same way: whoever joins becomes a team guest in the ticked channels.
  6. The person opens the link, signs in or signs up (with a phone number the account works at once), sees which chats they are invited to and clicks «Join». They land in the chat right away and see, once, an offer to connect Telegram or install the AURA app.
  • You can create links and invite by email only with a confirmed email, otherwise you see «Confirm your email to invite people».
  • A project and a team have up to 20 active links each.
  • If a guest opens the project itself, they see the list of its chats open to them instead of an error.
  • Chat guests of a project are listed in the project's «Team and access» under «Chat guests». To make a guest a full member, remove them and invite them again.

Talking to the client and guests

  1. A coordinator of the project opens the details of a project chat and presses «Show the chat to the client». The chat gets the mark «Client sees it».
  2. A project client who sees only chosen variants finds only such chats in «Chats» and can write in them. The other chats of the project stay hidden.
  3. «Hide the chat from the client» closes it again.
  4. A chat guest (a contractor) can be made a full member: in the chat details, in the «Members» list, press «Make a member» next to the guest. The project owner or a coordinator can do it, in a channel an admin of the team.
  • A full member of the project sees the project, the board and «Whole project»; the prices stay hidden as before. The chat shows a line «… makes … a member».

Notifications: Telegram, the app and the browser

  1. A mention, a reply to your message, «@all», a new direct message and a message in a group arrive at once.
  2. With «All messages», channels, subgroups and zones send a summary, for example «Catering: 7 new messages»: to the app at most once in 2 minutes per chat, to Telegram at most once in 10 minutes.
  3. Telegram: connect the bot in «Profile», in the Telegram block. The link in a message opens the chat it is about.
  4. The AURA app on a phone sends push notifications once you allow them: the app asks right after you sign in to your account, and later you can do it in the profile, in the «Notifications» section.
  5. On the site, turn on «Browser notifications» in «Profile»: mentions, replies and direct messages arrive as browser notifications while the AURA tab is open but you are looking at another one.
  6. On the site, in «Profile» → «My preferences», turn on «Browser pushes»: AURA notifications arrive even when the tab is closed. «Browser notifications» work only while an AURA tab is open.
  7. Once a day at 10:00 an «Email about unread messages» may arrive if you have not opened AURA for a day. It is turned off in «Profile» → «My preferences».
  • By default direct messages and groups send every message; channels, «Whole project» and «General» only mentions and replies; subgroups and zones every message as a summary. Change the mode in the chat details or with the bell in its header.
  • No notification arrives if you are in this chat now or have already read the message.
  • The text of a push notification shows on the phone's lock screen. To hide it, turn off «Show message text in push notifications» in the profile of the app: then a «New message in the chat» notification with the chat's name arrives instead.
  • Push notifications come with the new version of the app. Until then messages arrive in Telegram, and the counters show on the site and in the app.

Calls

  1. In a direct chat or a group of up to 6 people press the handset «Audio call» or the camera «Video call» in the chat header.
  2. The others see «Incoming call» with «Answer» and «Decline», and their phone gets a push.
  3. During a call you can turn off the microphone and the camera. «End the call» leaves it.
  4. After the call the chat keeps the line «Call 4 min», or «Missed call» if nobody answered.
  • The browser asks to allow the microphone and the camera. The sound and the video go directly between the participants and are not recorded.
  • In the AURA app calls work in the new version: the phone asks for access to the microphone and the camera. If a call is already on, the chat shows «Call in progress» above the feed with «Join».

Quiet hours and emails

  1. In «Profile» → «My preferences» → «Chats: online, quiet hours and emails» turn on «Quiet hours for chats» and set the time, for example from 22:00 to 08:00.
  2. Choose how mentions and direct messages arrive during these hours: «Without sound» or «One summary at the end».
  3. «Email about unread messages» comes once a day at 10:00 if you have not opened AURA for a day and messages wait in your chats. It can be turned off in the same place.
  • Quiet hours apply to app and browser pushes in your time zone. Telegram follows the settings of Telegram itself.
  • In the app the same settings are in «Profile» → «Notifications» → «Chats: online, quiet hours and emails». On Android messages in quiet hours come through a separate silent channel «Chats in quiet hours».

What did I miss

  1. If a project chat or a channel has 20 unread messages or more, a strip above the feed says how many you missed, with the «What did I miss» button and its price.
  2. AURA reads the unread messages, transcripts of voice messages included, and gathers 3–7 points: decisions, who does what and where you were mentioned. Each point has «To the message», and «To the first new one» is at the bottom.
  • The summary costs 1 pendant. In project chats the project owner pays, and the owner and editors can ask for it. In channels the team owner pays, and the owner and team admins can ask for it. Others see the hint «A coordinator can ask for a summary».
  • If there is not enough money, click «Top up». If the summary fails, nothing is charged.
  • Direct messages and groups have no summary.

How Chats differ from other tools

  • «Chats» are conversations between people. «I'll describe it» (formerly «Keep it simple») is a dialog with AURA that builds a visualization.
  • «Project chat» in the «Discussion» menu on the board and «Comment on an object» are tied to the project board (see the article about working together on the board). They are not «Whole project» in «Chats».
  • Aura Guide (the icon in the header) answers how to use AURA. It does not read the messages in chats.
  • «Tasks» are to-do lists with assignees and due dates: once you agree on something in a chat, put the task into «Tasks».
  • The AURA app on a phone has the same «Chats»: the icon in the header opens the list, and an empty field has a camera to take a photo or video at the venue or in the workshop in one tap.
