Working together and comments on the board

Project members see the board within the permissions they were given. Comments can be attached to a specific object.

How to use it

  1. With the «Team» button («Team and access») check that the member is invited to the whole project and has accepted the invitation.
  2. To discuss a general question, open the «Discussion» menu in the top bar and choose «Project chat»: a panel opens on the right. For a precise remark, select an object and click «Comment» on the dark bar over it, or choose «Comment on an object» in the «Discussion» menu, or press the C key. On a phone «Comment» is in the bottom bar, and «Discussion» is in «More».
  3. If you chose «Comment on an object» beforehand, click the object you need on the board to put a mark on it; Esc cancels the mode.
  4. The member circles in the top bar show who is on the board right now. Clicking a circle offers to follow the member or go to the object they selected; while following, your view moves with them, and Esc stops following.

Good to know

  • View access lets you read, comment access also lets you write remarks, and edit access lets you change materials. A professional role does not extend these permissions.
  • If access is revoked, you cannot keep editing. Ask the owner for access.
  • Comments do not start AI refinement automatically. To change an image, use the corresponding action on the result.

Discussion and members on the phone

You can discuss the whole board or a single saved card. The members panel shows who is present; the counters help you find open comments. In the background the updating stops.

New text typed while a message is being sent stays in the field. If the result of sending is unknown, first check the discussion. Sending again needs a separate decision, so that identical comments are not created.

Incoming updates do not replace your local edits or an open form. Managing zones, zone chats and generation from a frame are moved over in a separate stage.

Zones and chats in the app

  1. Open the project board and tap «Zones and chats». The section is available with the beta key for discussions.
  2. Save a frame, make it a zone, and set the name, the direction, the colour and whether it is open.
  3. Assign the chat members. The right to change materials is granted separately from access to the conversation.
  4. Write in the chat, mention members and attach private files. Links to a card help you quickly find the material on the board.
  5. In the zone settings choose notifications about all messages, only about mentions, or no notifications.
  • Deleting a zone removes its chat and attachments but keeps the frame and the cards. Deleting a frame has a different result. Openness of materials does not give access to the chat automatically.
  • If the reply is lost, sending is not repeated by itself. First refresh the chat and check whether the message appeared.
