Floristry collage: an exact shape from cut-out elements

Beta, open to everyone. A florist builds the composition from cut-out flowers, greenery, grasses and vessels right on the venue photo, and AI finishes the collage in the hall's light while keeping its shape. It suits arches, hanging installations, ikebana and compositions that are hard to describe in words.

How to use it

The feature is in beta and since 8 October 2026 open to every account: everyone has the collage buttons. If they are not there, an AURA administrator has closed the «Floristry collage» beta access for your account: write to support.

  1. Open «Florist studio» in the Floristry direction and click «Open the composition board» in the «Floral design visualization» card: a new board opens at once. Other ways in: «Build a composition» on an element in the «Flowers and items for compositions» block; «Create» (Ctrl+K or Cmd+K), the «Floristry collage» goal; in a project, the «Look» step, the «Floristry collage» card: «Open the collage» opens the latest collage of the project, «New collage» starts a new one; the «Build the floristry as a collage» link in the visualization wizard when a venue is chosen; «Collage on this frame» on the page of a finished frame.
  2. The «Photo of the venue» step: take a venue of the project, a saved scene or your own photo. Without a venue photo, open the «Studio» tab and take a neutral backdrop. The frame at once brings the picture to a format AI can work with.
  3. The «Perspective» step: set the horizon and the reference segment, and the elements change size with depth by themselves. The step can be skipped.
  4. Build the composition: drag elements from «Library» onto the photo, and in the «Draw» panel paint a mass with the «Mass brush», lay prints with the «Stamp brush», place an «Arch» and a «Cable». The «Dimensions» tool checks the height of the composition.
  5. Click «How AI will see it» to check the collage with shadows and the shape outline for free.
  6. Click «Finish with AI», check the price and click «Create». Usually in 1.5-2.5 minutes the finished frame arrives in the project and in the notifications.
  • The draft saves itself 2 seconds after a change. Your boards, personal ones and those in projects, open as cards in the «My compositions» block of «Florist studio», and all of them are kept in «My templates» (formerly «Saved work») under the «Floristry collages» filter; «Continue» opens a board again.

The venue photo and the frame format

The «Where to take the photo from» window offers an upload of your own photo with «Choose a venue photo» (JPEG, PNG, WebP or HEIC), a neutral «Studio» backdrop, saved scenes («My scenes») and the project's venues. If the collage was opened with «Build a collage on this visualization» in «Do more with this», the finished visualization itself is the background.

  • The picture is cropped to the nearest format AI can work with, for example 16:9, 4:3 or 3:4. The caption «The frame will be …» shows the format, and the frame can be moved with the mouse or the arrow keys.
  • Shoot from eye height without a strong tilt: the depth scale comes out more accurate.
  • To change the photo or the frame later, use «Photo» on the tool bar. If you only move the frame on the same photo, the perspective and the places of the elements are kept. For another photo the perspective has to be set again: the editor opens the «Perspective» step by itself.

Perspective: the horizon and the reference

Perspective makes an element smaller in the distance and larger near the camera by itself. Every element has its real size in centimetres, and on the photo it is recalculated for the place where the element stands.

  1. Drag the yellow dot on the «Horizon» line: up and down to the camera's eye height, left and right to where the lines of the floor and the walls going into the distance meet. This is the vanishing point; the dashed lines from it show the floor's lines.
  2. Put the ends of the reference segment on the top and the bottom of an object that stands on the floor and choose its height: «Table 76 cm», «Chair 45 cm», «Door 210 cm» or «Custom height». If the saved venue scene has measurements, the segment and the size are filled in by themselves.
  3. Check the scale against the 170 cm person: it follows the cursor and changes height with depth. If the person by the far wall looks like a giant, adjust the segment.
  • The step can be skipped with «Skip». Then the size of each element is set by hand with the «Scale» slider in the properties.
  • An object on a table or a stand is scaled by the floor under it. In the element's properties turn on «Support: the object stands on a table or a stand» and lower «Floor under the object» to the floor: the size is counted from the floor, not from the table top.
  • The depth scale is exact for a level floor and a camera without roll. If the camera is tilted or the floor is uneven, adjust the element's size by hand: «Size, cm» or «Scale».
  • The vanishing point matters when the camera looks at an arch or a wall from the side, not straight on. AI gets it together with the horizon and keeps the composition in the same perspective. The size of elements is still counted by depth.

The element library

The «Library» button opens the elements in three tabs: «AURA» (the shared set: flowers, greenery, grasses and dried flowers, branches, fruit and vegetables, vessels, glass, materials), «Mine» (your uploaded elements and cut-out compositions, the «Compositions» category) and «Bought» (packs from the library). Search by name in Russian or English and choose a category.

  1. Drag an element onto the photo. On a phone, tap the element and then the place on the photo.
  2. The element stands in its place and gets its size by depth. You can move it, resize it, rotate it (Shift gives 15° steps) and flip it.
  3. Open «Properties» to set «Stands on» (bottom, centre, top), «Crop» (for instance to trim the stem or keep only the head), «Eraser», «Color», «Lies on the table», the shadow, «Match the tone to the place» and the material.
  • The AURA set has more than 180 elements. Fruit, vegetables and mushrooms are in it on a par with flowers: apples of three kinds and crab apples on a branch, pears, cherries, limes, a mandarin, kumquats, a peach, plums, figs, quince, pomegranates, grapes, lemons, berries on twigs (red currant, blackberry, blueberry, physalis, rowan), aubergines, peppers, a zucchini, a pattypan, pumpkins, artichokes, cherry tomatoes on the vine and nine kinds of mushrooms. All of them are on a transparent background and can go on wire next to the flowers. Mushrooms have a choice of their own: pick «Fruit and vegetables: mushrooms» in the category list. Popular varieties (roses, peonies, hydrangeas, ranunculus, lisianthus, tulips, chrysanthemums, carnations, orchids, calla lilies) come in two or three views: on the stem, the head from above and a spray. A head from above stands by its centre and suits a dense mass. Yarn, wire, ribbons and twine are in the «Materials and more» category, dried flowers in «Grasses and dried flowers». Vases, bowls and planters are shot from the front at eye level and stand level on the table. Since 19 October 2026 the set has more than 900 elements: 730 cut-outs of flowers, greenery, branches, grasses and vases were added, with many colour and view variations of the popular flowers (spray rose, peony, carnation, dahlia, ranunculus, tulip, sweet pea, anthurium, lisianthus, gerbera, daffodil, calla, hydrangea and others). Next to the category there is a «Color» list: it keeps the elements of the chosen colour.
  • The shadow can be a contact one, a cast one or none. An element without a shadow more often looks pasted in.
  • One collage holds up to 600 elements, up to 20 arches and cables and up to 60 different elements: repeat the ones already chosen. If there is not enough room, select a group and click «Merge into a mass» in the properties: it becomes one element.
  • The «Library», «Layers» and «Properties» panels open only when you click them; on a phone they slide up from the bottom.

Your own elements and background removal

  1. In «Library» open the «Mine» tab and click «Upload your own elements».
  2. Choose up to 10 files: PNG, WebP, JPEG or HEIC, up to 15 MB and 4096 px. A photo of a flower, a branch or a vase on a plain background works best.
  3. Enter the name, the category, the real size in centimetres along the long side and the material.
  4. AURA removes the background itself. While it works, the card says «Removing the background», then «Ready», «Check the cut-out» (the element is cut by the edge or its rim is semi-transparent) or «Failed» with the reason.
  • Background removal is free. Limits: 30 uploads an hour, up to 300 own elements and up to 1 GB per account.
  • PNG and WebP with transparency are taken as they are, with no compression and no cut-out.
  • Glass cannot be cut out by its silhouette: for a glass vase upload a PNG with transparency. Without it the element gets «Check the cut-out» and will look frosted. In the AURA set the small glass bud vase and the amber glass bottle are transparent. The tall glass vase and the glass cylinders are frosted for now: AI usually makes them clear when it finishes the collage.
  • Only you see your own elements. A deleted element goes to the archive; if it is in a published pack, the buyers keep it.

Layers, outline and history

The «Layers» panel shows every element, arch and cable. Drag to change the order; a layer can be hidden, locked and renamed, and «Select the group» picks a whole group or the mass of a brush stroke at once.

  • The «Outline» switch shows the shape AI has to keep. Hidden layers do not go to the finishing.
  • Shortcuts: Delete removes, Cmd+D duplicates, Cmd+C copies, Cmd+X cuts, Cmd+V pastes the copy next to it, Cmd+G groups, Cmd+Shift+G ungroups, [ and ] move a layer down and up, the arrow keys nudge the selection. Cmd+Z undoes, Cmd+Shift+Z redoes; the history keeps up to 50 steps, one gesture is one step. On Windows press Ctrl instead of Cmd. While the cursor is in a text field, the keys work as usual.
  • If the draft was changed in another tab, the editor asks which version to keep: «Mine» or «The other tab’s».
  • If part of the draft could not be read, the editor warns you and does not save over the saved collage. Saving turns on only when you press «Continue and save».

Canvas zoom: in and out

  1. The buttons in the bottom right corner: «−» zooms out, «+» zooms in, the number in the middle shows the zoom, and pressing it brings the photo back to «Fit to window» (100%).
  2. You can zoom out down to 10%: the photo with the frame and all the elements shrinks with margins around it and stays whole in the window. «−» zooms out around the middle of the window, the wheel and a pinch around the point under the cursor or between the fingers. This way you see the whole composition and the elements at the edge of the frame. You can zoom in up to 600%.
  3. On a computer the mouse wheel with Ctrl (Cmd on a Mac) and a two-finger pinch on the trackpad change the zoom, on a phone or a tablet a two-finger pinch. The zoom changes around the point under the cursor or between the fingers.
  4. At any zoom the elements are selected, dragged, turned and resized just as at 100%: the handles and the selection frames keep their usual size.
  • The zoom changes only the view on the screen: the size of the frame, the elements and what AI receives stay the same.

Mass brush

  1. Click «Draw», choose the «Mass brush» and add up to 6 elements from the library to its palette. Each can be given its share.
  2. Paint over the photo where the mass should be: a garland along a table, a cloud at the foot of an arch, a meadow along a path.
  3. «Depth of the stroke»: «By the bottom of the stroke» for an arch, a frame or a hanging piece (all elements of the stroke keep one size, as if standing at one depth), «Along the floor» for a garland running back across the floor.
  4. Adjust «Density, pieces per metre», «Spread, cm», «Rise on the left, cm» and «Rise on the right, cm». «Shuffle» lays out the same stroke again.
  • A stroke becomes one «Mass»: one element of the collage instead of dozens of layers. AI finishes it as a lush mass of flowers in the stroke's shape. «Shuffle» lays the mass out again. To move flowers one by one, untick «Gather into one mass» before the stroke: every element then becomes a separate layer of one group.
  • Any selected elements can be gathered into a mass with «Merge into a mass» in the properties; Cmd+Z brings them back. The mass is saved in «Mine» under «Compositions» and costs nothing.

Arches, frames and cables

«Arch» and «Cable» are in the «Draw» panel. The «Arch» tool draws the frame of a composition: drag from one leg of the arch to the other along the floor, and change the height later («Arch height, cm»). The frame is part of the composition's shape, and AI covers it with flowers. The «Cable» tool draws a fixing: drag from one point to the other and set «Sag, cm». The cable is not part of the shape, and AI leaves it as it is.

  • A line has «Thickness, cm» and «Color». In the properties a line can be switched: «Frame, part of the composition» or «Cable, not part of the composition».
  • A hanging installation is built like this: a cable under the ceiling, and on it elements with «Stands on» set to «Top».

«How AI will see it»: a free check

The «How AI will see it» button shows the collage exactly as it will go to the finishing: with shadows, the tone matched to the place and the frame cropped. It is free. The «Outline» switch shows the shape AI has to keep.

  • Warnings are shown next to it: a composition smaller than 3% of the frame (keep it larger), elements without a shadow, glass without transparency, elements beyond the edge of the frame, elements without access.
  • «How AI will see it» can be opened up to 20 times an hour.

Finishing: price and refunds

  1. Click «Finish with AI». The window shows the price of the whole run and the warnings.
  2. In «What must stay» briefly write the main thing, for example the shape of the arch and the white peonies on the left (up to 300 characters).
  3. Click «Create». A waiting page opens: «Assembling the collage», «Finishing the attempts», «Checking the shape against the collage». You can close the page; the frame arrives in the project and in the notifications.
  • The whole run costs as much as one visualization, however many attempts AI makes. A subscriber uses one generation of the monthly limit. In a project the project owner pays.
  • Rights to the elements are checked before payment. If some elements are not available, for example a pack purchase was cancelled, the run does not accept the collage, those elements are marked on the photo, and no money is charged.
  • If not a single frame comes out, the run ends with an error and the money comes back by itself. The frame's page then has a «Retry» button.
  • If the finishing fails, the collage is not lost. On the error screen press «Open the collage»: the very draft the run came from opens, not a new empty one. If the draft is gone, AURA restores the collage from the run.
  • Elements of the shared AURA set are sometimes updated, for example reshot better. A finishing launched before the update and «Retry» take the updated file, and the collage does not break. If a finishing still stopped with «One of the collage elements was updated», press «Retry»: the money for the failed run has already come back.

Attempts, automatic choice and «Back to the collage»

AI makes several attempts within one price and checks each against the collage's outline: whether the shape is kept, whether the composition looks pasted in and whether the venue has changed. The best attempt by shape becomes the main variant, and the other attempts that passed become variants 2 and 3. Since 15 October another AI model finishes the collage: the flowers look more like real ones in a photo and less often look «fairy-tale», the composition more often keeps its intended size, and the venue and the camera angle do not change.

  • Above the finished frame there is the «Finished picture» and «Collage» switch: you can look at the collage built on the board and at the frame after finishing, also when the frame is opened again. A collage has no «Before and after» comparison. In «Details» → «Check» there is the «Collage and result» panel: the «Attempts» list marked «Picked by shape», «Passed» or why an attempt failed, and the «Collage elements» block.
  • Under the variants of a collage there is the «Which version came out better?» row. Press the variant that came out better: it becomes the main one, and AURA takes your choice into account to make such frames more often. It is free, and the choice can be changed. The owner and the editors of the project see the row. It appears when there are several finished frames: ones that passed the check, or ones where only the venue's background changed and the collage kept its form.
  • If no attempt repeated the shape exactly, the closest one is shown with the badge «The shape may differ from the collage» or «May look pasted in». The charge is the usual one in this case.
  • Small things on a finished visualization are fixed with «Retouch an area» (paid separately). To move elements, click «Back to the collage»: the same draft opens. If the draft was deleted or belongs to someone else (a teammate launched the collage), there is «Open the collage» instead: AURA restores this collage from the run into a new draft of yours marked «(restored)». A new run from a draft is paid again.
  • «Regenerate» on a frame outside a project runs the same collage again for the price of a new visualization. AI takes the wishes from that window into account together with «What must stay».
  • On someone else's published collage frame there is a «Build your own collage» link if you have an invitation.

Element packs in the library

Where the marketplace is open, «Library» has an «Elements» tab: studios sell packs of cut-out flowers, greenery and vessels for the collage. The tab is shown to everyone who has the collage, and it is open to everyone now.

  1. To buy: open a pack, look at what is in it (the names, categories and sizes of its elements) and buy it at the author's price from your balance. The pack appears at once in the editor's «Bought» tab and in «Purchases and sales».
  2. To sell your own: in the «Elements» tab open «My packs» and click «Put together a pack». Put from 6 to 200 of your ready elements into it and give it a name, a description and a cover.
  3. Click «Publish» and confirm your rights to the elements. The pack's contents do not change after publishing; «New version» makes a draft copy.
  4. Click «Sell» and set a price within the limits the form shows. Sales and income are shown in «Purchases and sales».
  • Files are not copied: the buyer gets the right to build collages from the elements and sees only small previews. Only AURA reads the full files when it assembles a collage.
  • If a purchase is cancelled, the pack's elements in drafts get «No access» and the run does not accept them. Finished visualizations stay.
  • Complaints about rights and taking a pack off sale go through the library's moderation, as for other goods.
  • A supplier may add a link to their site to a pack («Site or product page, optional» in «Sell»), and an admin may make the pack a «Partner»: such packs come first, and a finished arrangement shows «Where to buy». More in the article on suppliers and partners.

The composition's cost and moving it into the estimate

  1. Open the finished visualization of the collage. Under the picture press «Count the composition's cost».
  2. AURA shows what it is made of: each element of the collage and how many times it stands in the composition. A mass brush of 12 roses gives a row of roses with the quantity 12. Hidden layers are not counted.
  3. Check the quantities and type the «Price per piece». A price you typed before is already filled in.
  4. For every row choose «Purchase» or «Rental». By default vases, planters, stands, frames and other things that are not alive are rented (a compote bowl on a foot comes back after the event), and flowers, greenery, grasses, branches and fruit are bought. Below, the total is split into «Purchase» and «Rental».
  5. If you like, tick «Add the florist's work» and type the «Working hours» and the «Rate, ₽ per hour». Below you see the total and how many rows have no price.
  6. Press «Move into the project's estimate». The estimate gets the section «Floristry: <composition's name>» on the «Floristry» sheet. If the collage was made outside a project, pick a project in the list or create a new one right in the window.
  • You type the prices once: with «Remember the prices, purchase and rental for the next compositions» ticked they fill in by themselves together with the «Purchase» or «Rental» choice in any composition with the same elements. It is your price list of elements, only you see it.
  • Moving the same composition again updates its rows in the estimate, no second section appears. A row without a price goes into the estimate marked «no price», not at zero. If you type its cost in the estimate itself, the client's price follows the estimate's markup, like other rows.
  • The prices go into the estimate as they are: the estimate's markup is not added to the composition's rows. The client's price can be changed in the estimate itself.
  • The owner and the editors of the project see the button. Whoever sees the project's prices can move it into the estimate.
  • In the estimate a rented row is a rental and a bought row a material, and the row's description says «rental» or «purchase». Moving the composition again with another choice updates the row.

Studio: a neutral backdrop without a venue photo

A composition can be built without a photo of a real venue. On the «Photo of the venue» step open the «Studio» tab: the backdrop becomes the scene AI finishes just like a photo of a hall.

  1. In «Ready backdrops» click one of eight backdrops: a light wall and light oak, concrete, linen, a dark backdrop, a walnut table, marble, terracotta and travertine, sage.
  2. Or make your own in «Your own wall and table colour»: pick the wall colour and the table colour from the palette or any of your own, move «Table line», choose «Frame format» and click «Use this backdrop».
  3. Click «Ready». The «Perspective» step does not open for a studio: the «Scale» slider in the properties sets the size of elements, and the «Dimensions» tool checks the height of the composition.
  • The backdrop choice is kept in the collage: the «Photo» button on the tool rail opens the «Studio» again with the same colours.
  • The backdrop goes to finishing as an ordinary venue photo: «How AI will see it» and «Finish with AI» work and cost as usual.

The «Draw» panel

Brushes and lines are gathered in one panel. Click «Draw» on the tool rail: tiles «Mass brush», «Stamp brush», «Arch», «Cable», «Wire», «Rope» and «Bend» open on the right, with the settings of the chosen tool under them. Clicking «Draw» again returns the «Choose» tool.

  • The keys are the same: B for «Mass brush», S for «Stamp brush», A for «Arch», C for «Cable», W for «Wire», R for «Rope».
  • Everything drawn becomes ordinary layers: they can be moved, deleted and changed in «Properties».

Stamp brush

  1. In the «Draw» panel choose «Stamp brush».
  2. Pick the prints: a ready set «Roses», «Leaves», «Berries» or «Dots» from the shared AURA set, or up to 6 of your own elements from «Library» (click an element while the stamp is on).
  3. Adjust «Step, cm», «Size from, %», «Size up to, %», «Turn, ±°» and «Spread, cm». The preview shows how the prints lie on 1.2 m of line.
  4. Draw a line over the photo: copies lie along it with a step, a random turn and size. «Shuffle» lays the selected stamp out again.
  • «Turn along the line» turns the prints along the line, «Heads only, no stems» keeps the upper part of an element, for example a rose bud.
  • The prints become layers of one group, like those of the «Mass brush». There is no need to buy third-party brushes: stamps are made of your elements and AURA's.

Wire and rope

«Wire» and «Rope» are in the «Draw» panel. «Wire» lines up one element in an even row along a straight line: fruit, flowers or balls of the same size, the same distance apart, not turned and not scattered, as if threaded on a wire. It is neither a garland nor the «Stamp brush»: nothing is shuffled. «Rope» is drawn by hand: draw where it goes, and when finishing AI makes a real rope along that path.

  1. In the «Draw» panel choose «Wire» (the W key), press «Choose in the library» and then the element to thread.
  2. Choose «How many» or «Step, cm» and, if you like, «Size, cm». An empty size keeps the element's own.
  3. Draw a straight line over the photo from the first element to the last. With «Straight up or across» or with Shift the wire goes strictly up or sideways.
  4. The row and the wire become one group: its common frame moves and scales the whole row. «Lay again» lays the selected wire out again with the new settings.
  5. For a rope choose «Rope» (the R key), the kind «Jute», «Cotton» or «Green» and «Thickness, cm», then draw the path of the rope over the photo.
  • «Show the wire» draws the wire itself as a thin metal or green line; without it only the elements of the row stay on the photo.
  • The wire and the rope are part of the composition's shape, like the frame of an arch. The kind of rope can be changed later in «Properties».
  • The whole row is measured at the lower end of the wire, so the elements are the same size even on a vertical wire.

Dimensions: a ruler, the scale and shapes

The «Dimensions» tool on the tool rail helps check the height and width of a composition in centimetres. Sizes read from a photo are always approximate, so the numbers carry the «≈» sign.

  1. Set the scale: click a vase or an element whose height you know, enter its height in centimetres and click «Set the scale by it». By default the size from the library is filled in, and 30 cm when there is none.
  2. Drag a line across the photo: its length appears next to it. The width and height of the selection show over the selected elements.
  3. Add a helper shape «Square», «Circle» or «Triangle» of the width and height you need in centimetres. A shape can be dragged, and its size changed in the list of shapes.
  • Until the scale is set, sizes follow the collage perspective and are marked «≈ approximate».
  • Shapes and the ruler are seen only in the editor: they never get into «How AI will see it» or into the picture for AI. The «Show shapes on the photo» checkbox hides them in the editor too.

Bending an element (beta)

«Bend» asks AI to bend or extend an element along a line: curl the stem of a delphinium, extend a eucalyptus branch.

  1. In the «Draw» panel choose «Bend» and click an element on the photo.
  2. Draw a line of the bend you need from the element. «Erase the line» removes it so you can draw it again.
  3. Check the price and click «Bend». Usually within a minute AI redraws the element, AURA removes the background, and the new element takes the old one's place.
  • The new element is saved in the «Mine» tab of the library. Cmd+Z brings the previous element back.
  • After a bend the crop and the eraser strokes are removed: they were made on the element's old shape. The colour stays.
  • Bending is paid at the price of the cheapest AI edit: the price shows before the click. If the bend does not work, the money comes back by itself.
  • AURA elements and your own can be bent, bought ones cannot.

Groups, copy and paste

A group keeps several elements together: they are easy to move, resize and copy as one composition. A group has no position or size of its own, so after ungrouping every element stays in its place, with the same size and layer order. Several selected elements have one common frame around them, not a frame each.

  1. Select several elements with a frame or with Shift and press «Group» in «Properties» (Cmd+G or Ctrl+G).
  2. A click on any element of a group selects the whole group, and «Properties» says «Group · N elements». A second click on an element selects only that element, to move or change it on its own.
  3. Drag a corner of the common frame to make the whole group bigger or smaller in proportion: the sizes of the elements and the distances between them change together, and the opposite corner stays in place. Press inside the frame between the elements and drag to move the whole group.
  4. The «Properties» of a group have «Group width, cm» and «Group height, cm»: type one number and the other changes by itself, while the bottom of the group stays in place. «Smaller» and «Larger» do the same in steps of 10%. On a phone these fields set the size of the group.
  5. To remove the group, select it and press «Ungroup» (Cmd+Shift+G or Ctrl+Shift+G). After that every flower is selected and moved on its own.
  6. Cmd+C (Ctrl+C) copies the selection, Cmd+V (Ctrl+V) pastes the copy a little to the side: the elements stand relative to each other as in the original. The copy can also be pasted into another collage opened in the same tab.
  • When one element is already at its smallest or largest scale, the whole group stops at that limit so the proportions do not break. The sizes in centimetres are approximate, as in «Dimensions», and the perspective is taken into account: an element that moved deeper shrinks with the group exactly as the others do.
  • Each action is undone with one Cmd+Z.

Crop: trim the stem or keep the head

  1. Select an element and press «Crop» in «Properties». The whole element opens on the right with a frame.
  2. Drag an edge or a corner of the frame. The bottom edge trims the stem: the cut end goes where the element stands, so the flower moves down towards the vase. The «Head only» button keeps just the top of the flower at once.
  3. Press «Ready». The crop shows on the photo, in «How AI will see it» and in the finishing.
  • The element’s file does not change: «Reset crop» brings back the whole element. The crop is saved in the draft and undone with Cmd+Z.
  • Cropping cuts a rectangle. To remove a part of a complex shape, such as an extra side stem, use «Eraser».

Eraser: wipe out extra parts

  1. Select an element and press «Eraser» in «Properties». The element opens large on the right.
  2. Set «Brush size» and brush over what you do not need: a stem, a leaf, a piece of background. Erased parts show faintly.
  3. If you erased too much, switch the brush to «Restore» and brush over that place, or press Cmd+Z: each stroke is undone on its own.
  4. Press «Ready». Erased parts do not show on the photo, in «How AI will see it» or in the finishing, and the composition’s shape for AI is counted without them.
  • The element’s file does not change: «Clear eraser» brings back everything erased. The strokes are saved in the draft, up to 100 strokes per element.
  • The dashed line shows the «Crop» frame: what is outside it is not shown anyway.

Color: repaint a flower

  1. Select a flower and in «Properties», in the «Color» block, click a circle of the palette or «Custom color».
  2. The «Colour strength» slider decides how far the flower goes into the new colour. Light and shade, the outline and the transparent background stay.
  3. «Reset colour» brings back the original colour.
  • Stems and leaves stay green by default. To repaint them too, for instance on a branch or grass, turn on «Repaint greens too».
  • The colour is saved in the draft, shows in «How AI will see it» and goes to the finishing. The element’s file does not change.

Cutting a composition out of a finished picture

Any picture of a composition, not only one from AURA, is cut out on the «Cut out onto a transparent background» page in Floristry: «Florist studio» → «Florist's tools» or the step of the project's chain. Drop the picture into the frame or click it and choose a file (PNG, WebP or JPEG up to 15 MB), check the name and click «Cut out». It costs kulons, the price is shown next to the button before the start; if the cut-out fails, the kulons come back. The finished PNG can be downloaded, put «To the collage» or «To the board» of the chosen project, and it is already in «Mine» → «Compositions». Below on the same page is the second way, free: from a finished AURA visualization, as in the steps of this section.

  1. Open a finished floristry visualization: a collage frame or a visualization with the «Floristry» section. In «Do more with this» choose «Cut out the composition».
  2. If there is a wall, a table or a backdrop around the composition, draw a frame around it: drag over the picture in the «Draw a frame» block. Only what is inside the frame is cut out, and the cut-out comes out cleaner. «Remove the frame» brings back the whole picture. If the cut-out failed because of a problem on our side, AURA says so: try again a little later, the frame does not need to change.
  3. Check the title and «Composition height, cm» and click «Cut out». AURA cuts the composition out onto a transparent background, without the table and the backdrop.
  4. If something else was cut out along with the flowers (a stand, a frame, cutlery, the edge of the table), press «Erase the extras» under the picture. Brush over the extras with a mouse or a finger, «Brush size» changes the size. What you erase becomes transparent, the rest and the transparent background stay as they were. «Undo the stroke» brings back the last stroke, «Restore everything» all of them at once, «Restore» paints the erased part back. Press «Ready» to see the result.
  5. Press «Save the cleaned one»: the cleaned composition takes the place of the previous one in the library, and «Arrange on a board» puts that one on the board. Before saving, «Download PNG» downloads the cleaned file.
  6. When the composition is ready, click «Download PNG» to get a file with a transparent background, or «Arrange on a board»: a new board opens, click the photo where the composition should stand.
  • Cutting out is free, with the same limits as uploading your own elements. The composition is saved in «Library» → «Mine», the «Compositions» category, and can be placed on any board. «Do not keep» removes it from the library.
  • The item is shown to those who have the floristry collage and can edit the visualization. A cut-out usually takes 1-3 minutes, and the window shows how long it has been. When the server is busy it takes longer: you can close the window, the composition appears in «Mine» → «Compositions» by itself.
  • If a wall or a table got into the cut-out, the composition is still saved and the window offers «Erase the extras». If AURA could not separate the composition from the background at all, the window says so at once: press «Draw a frame», draw a tighter frame around the composition and press «Cut out» again. If the cut-out failed because of a problem on our side, press «Try again»: AURA repeats it with the same frame. If the picture is too large for the cut-out, choose another variant of the frame.
