My templates: venues, plans and drafts for new projects

«My templates» (formerly «Studio materials» and «Saved work») is the fifth part of the «Library»: your saved drafts, venues, products, sets, frames, palettes and plans that you can take into a new project. Only you can see them.

How to use it

  1. Open «Library» → «My templates» (the part is visible after sign-in, the old address /studio now opens «My studio», whose «Library» → «My templates» leads here; from «Create» the «My templates» row in the «⋯» menu leads here). Find a material by name or choose a kind in the «Material type» list: «Venues», «Floor plans», «Drafts», «Products», «Sets», «Frames», «Palettes», «Plan presets» and, if the collage is open, «Floristry collages». Next to it it says «Templates: N».
  2. A card has one main button by the kind of material: «Continue» for a draft, «Visualize» for a venue, «Use in visualization» for a product and a set, «Open floor plan» for a plan. A frame and a palette have an «Open projects» button: they are added on a project's board in the «Library» tab.
  3. The round «⋯» button («Do more with this») on a card opens the rest: «View in 3D» and «Add to a project» for a plan, «Download photo», «Download layout», «Sell in the AURA Gallery» for a venue, «Rename», «Archive» and «Delete».
  4. Rename a material to find it later. Move what you do not need to the archive: the «Archive» button above the list opens archived materials, «Restore» brings a material back.
  5. To remove a material you do not need for good, choose «Delete» in the «⋯» menu. Check the name in the «Delete this material?» window and confirm «Delete permanently». The «Archive» button in the same window keeps the material in case it is still needed, «Cancel» keeps it as it is.
  6. You can take the plan you need into a project right from here: «Add to a project» opens the «Which project should it go to?» window, where you choose a project or «Create a project with this plan». A copy of the plan goes into the project's plans and opens in the editor, the original plan does not change.

Taking from templates into a project

  1. Open a project. In the «Look» step there is a «From saved» card with an «Open saved items» button, and on the «Visualizations» page the «⋯» menu → «Take from saved» (the item is there if your templates already hold a venue or a draft).
  2. «My templates» opens, and at the top it says which project you are choosing for: a venue or a draft for a visualization, a hall plan for the «Space» step. «Return to project» leads back.
  3. For a venue, product, set or draft press «Visualize», «Use in visualization» or «Continue»: the visualization starts with it and is saved in this project.
  4. For a plan press «Take into the project»: a copy of the plan is saved in the project's plans and opens in the editor. The original plan does not change.
  • The underlay (the venue drawing) is copied together with the plan. The original plan stays as it was.
  • You can take into a project only where you are the owner or an editor: otherwise the button is replaced by «Only the project owner and editors can take materials».

Good to know

  • «Delete permanently» deletes the material together with its sources, with no way back and no recycle bin. The archive is suitable if the material may still be needed.
  • Sizes, photos and layouts are stored in the material as separate parts. Under a venue you can see what it has: «Dimensions» and «Floor plan». Check that they are still current before reusing.
  • Saving in «My templates» does not publish the material in the «AURA Gallery»: only you see your templates.
  • A venue saved from a finished visualization (the «Save the venue» button in the «Do more with this» menu) can be sold in the «AURA Gallery»: the «Sell in the AURA Gallery» item in the «⋯» menu of its card, if the marketplace is open for you. Bought venues are also here, and you can press «Visualize» on them at once.
  • If the material was changed in another tab, deleting stops. Refresh the list, check the current version and repeat the action.
  • Palettes saved from a project board appear in the color palette of the visualization and of the floor plan in the «Studio palettes» section. Archived palettes are not shown there.
  • Floristry collage drafts (a beta feature) are here under the «Floristry collages» kind. A draft saves by itself, and the «Continue» button opens the editor. From a finished collage frame «Back to the collage» leads to the draft. The boards of «Keep it simple» are not shown under this kind: they are under «All» and in the «My pictures» block on Home.
  • Templates load with the «Show more» button. The «Cards / List» switch is gone: templates are always shown as cards.
  • While nothing is saved, the page says «Nothing saved yet» and offers «Create visualization»: venues, plans and drafts that you saved end up here.
  • With the directions on, «Direction» stands above the list: «All directions», «Design», «Production» or «Floristry». Products from the «Calculator» belong to Production, floristry collages to Floristry, the rest to Design. In Floristry the list opens on its collages at once, not on chairs and constructions; from «My studio» it opens on every direction.

Saved work on the phone

In the mobile app, Saved work opens from the home page. Drafts, venues, products, sets, frames, palettes, plans and plan presets are available. Search, the view filter and the archive help you find a material.

  1. Tap a material to open its actions. Renaming, archiving, restoring and deleting check the current version.
  2. Tap «Save material» to save your own venue or products from the current contents of the frame. A set combines several of your own products.
  3. Choose «Use». The products are added to the current contents, and the venue replaces the scene source. The previous draft is saved before the switch.
  4. A frame and a palette open the chosen board, a preset opens the plan. Pasting is a separate tap inside the editor and can be undone.
  5. The sources can be sent through the phone's system menu. If the reply about saving was lost, first check the state of the material.
  • Saving your own work does not publish it to the community and does not send a rental request. Sorting applies to the loaded materials.

Saving from a result or the wizard on the phone

In the mobile app, a finished result lets you save the source scene of the venue, and the owner of an approved set card can separately save the set card as a PNG. These are different materials in your personal Saved work.

After a message that the save succeeded, the material stays in Saved work after the app restarts. Checking an unfinished action is needed only when the result of an earlier request could not be confirmed.

If saving was interrupted, first tap «Check the result». A new material is not created automatically. If an old product has a name or description that is too long, open «Frame contents → Products», choose the product and shorten the text to 100 and 500 characters respectively. The original material in Saved work stays unchanged.

  1. In the result tap «Save scene», enter a name and confirm. The source photo, the dimensions and the accepted plan are saved. If the plan is not accepted, the app tells you it is left out.
  2. For an approved set, choose the matching frame and save its card. An ordinary result and a set that is not approved do not get this action.
  3. In the wizard you can separately save your own venue or your own products. A single product is saved as a product, several as a set. The current contents are saved before the operation.
  4. After saving, open Saved work or create a visualization with the scene. When you use the scene, the other settings of the current contents are kept.
  • Saving does not publish the material to the community and does not arrange a rental. Repeating a scene can bring back the name saved earlier.
  • If the reply was lost, check the state first. The app does not create a new material automatically.

Order of materials and viewing a plan

In the mobile app, Saved work can be ordered by change date, creation date or name. The order applies to the materials already loaded; the following pages are added to the same list.

For an active plan linked to a project, the «View in 3D» button opens exactly that plan in the project scene. You need access to the project without a restriction to chosen options and an invitation to the 3D scene. A personal plan must first be linked to a project.
