Create a visualization: «I'll build it» on one screen

A visualization is put together on one screen: on the left «What goes into the visualization» (venue, products, words and «More options»), in the center the photo of the hall and the wait, at the top the switch «I'll build it» and «I'll describe it». It all ends with the «Create» button.

How to use it

  1. Click «Create» in the header and choose «Visualize the hall» (on a phone, the round «+» at the bottom). To put the visualization straight into a project, open the project and click «New visualization» on the «Look» step. The screen takes the whole page. At the top there are the «Back to visualizations» arrow (if you started from a project, «Back to the project»), the draft name («New visualization»), the saving status, the switch «I'll build it» and «I'll describe it», «Balance», the «Aura Guide» icon and the «⋯» menu.
  2. On the left is the heading «What goes into the visualization» and three cards in order. The first one, «Venue»: drop a photo of the hall into the big zone in the center of the screen or click it. An ordinary phone photo taken in daylight will do. The «Choose» button opens the «Venue» window: your own photo, a venue from «Venue library» and an optional «Layout plan». When a venue is in, the card has the «Change» button.
  3. The second card, «Products»: click «Add» and choose furniture and decor from the catalog, sets, or upload photos of your own products, then click «Ready». What you chose is shown as a list with quantities (the first six, then «and N more»), and the button turns into «Edit». When there are three places left or fewer before the photo limit, the text under the list says how many more you can add.
  4. The third card, «Describe it in words» «(optional)»: write about the light, the mood and what stands where. You can dictate the text: the microphone is in the corner of the field, and the line «You can dictate it» is shown only where a microphone is available. To the right of the title is the «Do it for me» button with a star: the Aura Guide chat about this screen opens at the bottom right. AURA sees what is already chosen, asks at most three questions about what is missing and fills in the field, the number of guests, the frame style and the quality herself. What she filled is outlined for a while and «More options» opens. Messages are free; you press «Create» (article «Do it for me»).
  5. The «More options» block opens with an arrow. The first level has «Number of guests» (if you are not sure, AURA will use 50), «Quality» («Quick version» or «For the client», the price of each is written under the switch) and «Frame style» (the «Choose» or «Replace» button; it is the light, colour and mood of the frame, without a preset the visualization is built from your words). The «More settings» button opens the «More settings» window: venue sizes, layout and light, camera angle and the «Add venue elements» sections.
  6. Click «Create» at the bottom of the left column, or press Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter on a Mac). The button is never grey. If something is missing, the text under it says what, for example «Needed: the venue, at least one product.», and clicking it highlights the first card that lacks it. The price is shown on the button, and for a subscription the line «Included in your paid subscription» stands under it.
  7. The wait happens in the center of the screen: «Creating the visualization», usually 2-4 minutes. While AURA works, a short silent clip plays in the frame, and under it you see what is being done now and how much time has passed. If reduced motion is on in the device settings, a still picture stands instead of the clip. You can close the page, and the result will appear in the «Visualizations» list. When the visualization is ready, the result page opens (the help article «The ready visualization»).

Good to know

  • Photos of specific products and mood references solve different tasks. Do not replace exact requirements with one general description.
  • The words from the «Describe it in words» field are drawn on the visualization: if you write «white flowers and candles on the tables», the flowers and candles appear even when there are no such products on the list, and the order check does not count them as extra.
  • In the «Add venue elements» section, next to the «Color» and floristry «Palette» fields and the «Light color» of the fixtures, there is a swatch button. It opens a palette: ready-made decorator colors, the last ones you chose, palettes from «My templates» and «Custom color» (the eyedropper works in browsers that support it). The name of the color goes into the field: that is what the generation receives, and you can edit the text. For floristry you can choose up to five colors. If you type a different color instead of a ready-made one, the swatch next to the field is reset; for «Custom color» the swatch stays even when the name is edited.
  • The time estimate is approximate: usually the visualization is ready in 2-4 minutes, together with the order check. If a stage does not change for a long time, «The generation is taking longer than usual…» appears. You can close the page, and the task continues on the server. If the server stops responding, after about 20-25 minutes the generation stops with a clear reason, and for the account it returns to the limit.
  • A generation uses the quota of a paid subscription, a purchased generation or the funds on your balance: the price is on the «Create» button, and what you have is shown on the «Balance» page. If the quota has run out, «Buy extra generations» and «Prices» appear above the button. If funds are short, the text next to the button says how much more you need, and the «Top up» link is there. In a project the project owner pays, and a member who may not create sees the line «In this project the owner makes the visualizations. Ask them to give you access» instead of the button.
  • The draft is saved by itself, and the status is in the top bar. The «⋯» menu has «Draft title», «Save draft», «Save the venue», «Save the products» and «My templates». A venue photo from a computer has to be uploaded again after the page is refreshed; the rest is restored.
  • On a phone and a tablet the screen becomes one column, «Create» is pinned to the bottom and the pickers open over the screen. On a tablet and a phone «Balance» is in the «⋯» menu.
  • Do not want to fill in the cards yourself? Switch «I'll build it» to «I'll describe it»: AURA puts together the same list in a dialog and asks only for what is missing (the article «I'll describe it»). The way you chose last is remembered in this browser. The arrow at the top is called «Back to the project» if you started from a project, and «Back to visualizations» otherwise.
  • When the guest and table counts are set, AURA puts an equal number of chairs at each table, facing it, and the chosen plates, glasses and napkin rings at every seat. The words «night», «evening» or «night lighting» in the description field make the frame a night one: a dark sky in the windows, fixtures and candles lit, even when the venue photo is a daytime one.
  • AURA reads the words about the layout in «Describe it in words» and «Arrangement requirements» first and puts them above its own seating rules. For example, «narrow tabletop, chairs only on the outer side» gives chairs along one side of the table, and the other side stays free. If you add a photo with the «Table setting / napkins» role in «More settings» → «Arrangement, light and table setting», AURA counts one cover on it (how many glasses, plates and cutlery) and lays the same at every guest: the glasses above the plate on the right, not in the middle of the table. Table legs are drawn straight.
  • If a table came out one or two chairs short or over (for example 9 instead of 10), AURA itself redraws only that table with the exact number of chairs and checks the shot again. The rest of the shot does not change.
  • AURA turns your words and photos into a list of requirements (layout, the seated side, the place setting, the direction of garlands, haze, «do not add») and checks the finished shot against it. If a requirement is broken in one place, for example chairs on both sides of one table, AURA redraws only that place and checks again. If the place setting is mentioned without a photo, every guest gets the same standard cover: three glasses at a wedding, two at a banquet, a cup and saucer at a coffee break.

Draw on the venue photo

  1. Click «More options» → «More settings», open «Add venue elements» in the «More settings» window and switch on the section you need: «Fabric draperies», «Stage», «Technical light» or «Floristry». Then open its settings with the arrow.
  2. In the «Photo or diagram for this section» block click «Draw on the venue photo»: the photo of the chosen venue opens. On a phone the editor takes the whole screen.
  3. Mark where and in what shape the decor is needed: a brush, a line, an arrow, a rectangle or an oval; choose the color and thickness on the panel. The eraser, «Undo», «Redo» and «Clear» fix the drawing. You can draw with a mouse, a finger or a stylus; the photo zooms with two fingers, the «+» and «−» buttons or the wheel with Ctrl, and «Pan» shifts it.
  4. Click «Save sketch». In the sketch card, in the «What the lines show» field, explain the drawing briefly, for example: «red marks the wall for the drapery, the arrows show how the folds fall».
  5. The sketch is saved in the draft and goes into the generation with the section. To change it, click «Edit the sketch on the photo» or «Edit» in the card; «Delete» removes the sketch.
  • AURA needs the lines only as a diagram: where the decor of the section stands and what shape it has. There must be no lines on the ready visualization; if they are visible, choose «Retouch an area» or «Create again».
  • A section has one sketch, and it counts as one of the four references of the scene.
  • The sketch is drawn on a specific photo. If you choose another photo, a scene or a venue from the library in the «Venue» window, the sketches of the old photo are removed, so draw them again.
  • You can draw on your own venue photo, on the photo of a saved scene and on a venue from «Venue library».
  • When you retouch a ready visualization, the «Area» mode keeps taking the sketch into account. After the «Angle» mode the camera is different, so the sketch is no longer used: the decor of the section stays where it stands in the image.

If the generation did not work

  1. Read the reason on the waiting screen or on the card in the «Visualizations» list. It says what exactly happened: the image service did not answer, the generation server restarted, the generation hung and was stopped, and so on.
  2. If the text under the reason says the generation was not charged, the failed attempt has already returned to your limit.
  3. Click «Retry»: the same generation starts again with the same photos and options, you do not need to enter them. The limit goes down once, for the new attempt. «Back to the settings» opens the «What goes into the visualization» list with what you chose.
  4. If there is no «Retry» button, repeating with the same data will not help: change the options, for example shorten the wishes, replace the photo or the hall plan, and start the generation again.
  5. If the error repeats, click «Contact support». The generation number is already in the message, so just describe what you started.

Dialog in the mobile app

In the mobile app, «I'll describe it» (formerly «Keep it simple») opens from the «Create» screen. The dialog is visible only to you. The brief it collects is stored separately from the current frame contents.

  1. Open «I'll describe it», pick a dialog from the history or start a new one. If you need to, attach it to a project in which you can edit materials.
  2. Describe what you want. With the attachment button, add venue photos, your own products or catalog items. Messages are free, and the remaining daily allowance is shown in the dialog.
  3. Open the collected brief and check the venue, products, number of guests, style and quality. The phone's system camera and keyboard are used for shooting and dictation.
  4. Tap «Check the cost and create» and confirm the cost shown. The generation uses the account's allowance or the project owner's budget. If the price, the permissions or the brief have changed, check them again.
  5. Open the finished frame in the results. To continue in the full wizard, choose «Open in the wizard» in the menu and confirm saving the current contents. The previous draft stays in the library.
  • The dialog for building a frame, the refinement of an already finished image and the help tool Aura Guide are different tools.
  • If the answer about the launch is lost, the app saves the request so that you can check it and repeat it explicitly. A second frame is never started on its own.

Visual brief from the phone

In the mobile app, open «Frame contents», then «Options». Here you set the references with their roles, the number of items per table, draperies, the stage, floristry and light fixtures.

  1. Add a photo and choose its purpose. Active references count toward the overall photo limit of the frame.
  2. Open the section you need, choose a preset and adjust sizes, material, color and placement. For light, groups of fixtures, mountings, temperature and targets are available.
  3. In the design section you can draw a sketch over the photo: with a brush, a line, an arrow, a rectangle or an ellipse. Use undo, the eraser and zoom.
  4. To set the scale, mark two points on your own photo and enter the known length of the segment.
  5. Tap «Ready» to save the options in the current draft. The generation is started separately from the frame contents.
  • Replacing the venue deletes the old sketches and the measured segment. Ordinary references and the sizes you entered are kept. A switched-off section keeps its settings but does not pass them to the generation.

Save your own materials in the mobile wizard

In the mobile app, next to the choice of materials you can save your own venue photo or your own products to Saved work separately. One product is saved on its own, several are combined into a set.

  • These actions save the originals for future projects. They do not start the generation of a new frame.

References from Files on the phone

In the mobile app, open the visualization options and «Decor references». For the layout, the general light, the art object and the table setting you can pick several images at once from Photos or Files.

JPG, PNG and WebP up to 10 MB per file are accepted. The brief can hold up to four references, including those of temporarily switched-off sections. Choosing files does not start the generation.
