The florist's prices, stock and calculator
Floristry has its own tools: «Price list and norms» with the prices of flowers, greenery and materials and the norms of compositions, «Materials in stock» with what lies in the studio, and «Calculator», which counts the stems, the purchase, the work and the client's total and adds the calculation to the project's estimate. A composition can also be calculated from a photo or a collage with AURA.

The florist's price list and norms
Open the «Florist studio» and click «Price list and norms» in the «Florist's tools» block. On the first visit AURA puts typical items into the price list: roses, peonies, hydrangea, eucalyptus, foam, ribbons, vases. They are marked «AURA example»: the prices are examples, replace them with your own. Once you change a row, the mark goes away.
- At the top set «Florist's rate, ₽ per hour», «Studio markup, %» and «Breakage reserve, %» and click «Save». The reserve is added to the stems in the calculator.
- Click «New item» or «Edit» on a row. Give the variety or item, the group (flowers, greenery, materials, vases and stands, decor) and the purchase unit: stem, bunch, piece, pack or metre. For a bunch or a pack, say how many it holds.
- Enter the purchase price. An empty «Markup, %» field takes the studio's markup. An empty «Client price, ₽» field means the purchase price with the markup. The season and the supplier are optional.
- This is the florist's price list: stems, bunches, pieces and metres. The production price list in «Production» is different: it is about sheets and metres of materials for products.
- The search and the group above the table narrow the list.
Composition norms
The «Composition norms» tab says what one composition or one running metre takes: flower stems, greenery stems, hours of work and materials from the price list. Typical norms are already there: small, medium and large table arrangements, an arch and a garland per running metre, a floor arrangement, a bridal bouquet, a bridesmaid's bouquet, a boutonniere, a chair decoration.
- Click «New norm» or «Edit» on a norm.
- Name the composition and choose how it is counted: per composition or per running metre.
- Fill in «Flowers, stems», «Greenery, stems» and «Work, h». In «Materials» add items of the price list, such as foam or ribbon, with the quantity for one composition.
Download and upload the price list
- Click «Download the price list»: an XLSX file comes. The first sheet is your price list, the second lists the norms for reference.
- Edit the prices or add rows. The required columns are «Title», «Unit» and «Purchase price, ₽». A row is recognised by the «Code» column, without a code by its name and unit.
- Click «Upload the price list» and choose an XLSX or CSV file up to 5 MB. AURA first shows what will happen: new rows, changes, unchanged rows and errors. «Upload» writes everything except the rows with errors.
Materials in stock
«Materials in stock» keeps what is already in the studio: flowers left after an event, vases, wire, foam, ribbons. Every row has a quantity, a unit and where it lies.
- Click «Add to stock». Choose the «Price list item» so the calculator counts this row: the name, the group and the unit are filled in for you.
- Enter the quantity, the unit and where it lies, then click «Save».
- To take something from stock into work, click «Write off from stock», enter how much and into which project. Write-offs are listed at the bottom of the page under «Latest write-offs».
- The calculator takes from stock first and warns you when the estimate needs more than the studio has.
- The production «Stock» in «Production» is different: frames and remnants of products.
The florist's calculator
- Click «Calculator» in «Florist's tools». Choose the «Project for the estimate» if the calculation goes into a project's estimate.
- In «Compositions» choose a norm and how many pieces or metres. Add as many compositions as you need.
- In «Flowers by variety» add varieties from the price list with their shares in percent: the flower stems of the norms are split by these shares. Do the same in «Greenery». In «More from the price list» add vases, ribbons or flowers by the piece.
- The calculation updates by itself: for every variety how much is needed, how much comes from stock, how much to buy in bunches or pieces, the purchase cost and the client price. At the bottom: buying from suppliers, the florist's work, the cost, the markup and the client's total.
- Click «Add to the project's estimate». The rows go on the «Floristry» sheet into the section «Floristry: <name>». To take the stems from stock at once, tick «Write off from stock into the project».
- Adding to the estimate again updates the same rows, there is no second section, and only the difference is written off from stock. «New calculation» starts a separate section.
- The rows in the estimate keep the purchase price and the florist's markup; the estimate's markup does not apply to them. Vases and stands become rental rows.
- A variety without a price is marked «no price», not 0 ₽. If a norm names a material that is not in the price list, the calculator says so.
Calculate an estimate from references with AURA
The «Calculate from a reference with AURA» card in the calculator fills it in for you.
- From a photo: choose a photo of the composition and click «Read the photo». The price of the reading is shown next to the button before it starts. AURA works out the kind and size of the composition, the flowers and greenery with their shares and the vase, and picks your norm and varieties from your price list.
- From a collage: under a finished collage composition click «Count the composition's cost», then «Open in the florist's calculator». The collage's elements become rows of «More from the price list», free of charge.
- Check the composition, the varieties and the shares. What AURA did not find in the price list is listed under the card: add it to the price list or choose a substitute.
- If reading the photo fails, the charge is returned. Clicking again with the same photo does not charge twice.
Who sees and changes the price list
The price list, the norms and the stock belong to the studio, that is the owner's account. The owner changes them. A project editor who sees prices counts in the calculator with the project owner's price list when choosing that project, and can write off stock into that project. The florist's tools open together with the Floristry direction.
