Push notifications on your phone

The AURA app on your phone sends push notifications beyond the chats: finished generations, AURA's questions, tasks, client answers and quotes, rental requests, the wallet and AURA news. You choose which ones come in your profile; at night some of them wait for the morning.

What comes

A push comes to the AURA app on a phone where you signed in to your account and allowed notifications. Tapping a push opens the right screen: the result of a generation, a task, a request, an approval or the wallet. Chat pushes are set up in the chats themselves; the rest are split into categories.

  • «Generations»: a visualization, a collage, a turnkey frame (asking you to approve it for the client), a frame refinement, a 3D model, a hall scan, a video tour or a voice brief is ready, or did not work out, and then the push says nothing was charged. In floristry a push comes when a cut-out needs checking or did not work out and when a bend is ready.
  • «Answer to AURA»: in «Do it for me» AURA is waiting for your answer (a reminder comes after 15 minutes without one), has finished, could not finish or closed the task because there was no answer for a long time. If you paused it yourself or pressed «I will take it from here», there is no push.
  • «Tasks»: a task was assigned to you, a deadline is in a day and in an hour, a new comment in a task (several within 10 minutes come as one push), your invitation to a task list or a project was accepted.
  • «Clients and quotes»: a client approved a variant, a document or a layout or asks for changes; left feedback on a presentation; opened a quote for the first time, approved it or asks for changes in it; a quote expires tomorrow. Mentions with @ and replies in your discussion are here too.
  • «Rental requests»: the rental company gets a new request, the client gets the company's answer: the request is confirmed or declined. The client's phone and email are not in the push, they are in the request itself.
  • «Wallet»: the wallet was topped up, the bank returned a payment, an administrator credited or debited pendants, a tool set is ending and will not renew by itself, someone bought your work on the market (an hour of sales comes as one push), a sale was paused or a work was taken off sale.
  • «AURA news and announcements»: what's new in AURA and important announcements from the AURA team.
  • Administrators also get «Requests for admins»: new «We'll do it turnkey» requests.

Permission for notifications

The app asks for permission to send notifications right after you sign in to your account: on the first start, after signing in or signing up. A short window «AURA notifications» comes first, and after «Allow notifications» the phone shows its own system request. You do not need to open «Chats» for this.

  • If you allowed notifications before, pushes are connected by themselves when you sign in, there is nothing to press.
  • «Not now» puts the question off: the window comes again no sooner than in 3 days and no more than 3 times in all. You can allow notifications at any time in the app's profile, in the «Notifications» section.
  • If notifications are turned off in the phone's settings, the app cannot ask again. In the profile, in the «Notifications» section, there is the «Open phone settings» button: turn notifications for AURA on there.

How to set it up

  1. Open «Profile» (the menu under the avatar or «More» on a phone) and find the «Push notifications» row in the «My preferences» block. In the app the same switches are in the «Notifications» section of the profile.
  2. Clear the check of a category whose pushes you do not need. The change is saved at once and applies to all your phones.
  3. The «Show the text in push notifications» check is shared with the chats: without it the lock screen shows only «AURA» and the name of the category, not the text.
  4. The quiet hours line shows the time zone. If it is not yours, press «Use this device's time zone»: then the night is counted by your time. The app reports the phone's zone by itself when you sign in.

Quiet hours

From 22:00 to 9:00 in your time zone «Tasks» and «AURA news and announcements» do not come but wait until 9:00 in the morning. If the zone is unknown, Moscow time is used. Generations, answers to AURA, clients, rental requests and the wallet come at once, at night too: people usually wait for them.

AURA news and announcements

From time to time the AURA team sends short news: a new feature, planned maintenance, an important change. They come in the «AURA news and announcements» category and wait for the morning at night. Clear this check if you do not need the news: the other pushes keep coming.

Good to know

  • A push does not come to the person who did the action: if you assigned a task to yourself or approved a variant yourself, there is no push.
  • If no pushes come at all, check that AURA notifications are allowed in the phone settings and that pushes on this phone are on in the app. Signing out in the app turns pushes off on that phone.
  • Telegram and letters come as before. A push comes even if Telegram is not connected.
  • The site does not show pushes: it only keeps your settings. For chat notifications in the browser there is a separate «Browser notifications» check.
