The AURA mobile app for iPhone: studio, projects, visualizations, boards, plans, production, chats and the catalog. The app is in closed testing through TestFlight; it is not on Android or in the App Store yet.

How to use it

  1. The app is in closed testing through TestFlight on iPhone. There is no public download in the App Store yet. The app uses the same AURA account as the website, and projects, balance and chats are shared.
  2. Open «Create». On the «Frame setup» screen the blocks are edited separately: venue, products, style, options, plan and wishes.
  3. Add your own photo of the venue or a ready-made venue, then products from the catalog or your own photos. Set up the frame and tap «Create visualization». The app checks the required data and the current photo limit.
  4. Wait for the result: progress is shown on the screen, and you can minimize the app and come back later. The finished options open automatically, and you can download or share the frame.
  5. At the bottom of the screen there are five cells: «Home», «Projects», «Create» in the middle, «Library» and «More». When you have chats, a «Chats» tab with the number of unread messages is added. «More» holds «Profile», «Balance», «Chats», «AURA news», «Help», «Aura Guide», «All tools» (with «Sketches» and «Floristry» there too), «Language» and «Sign out»; an administrator also has «Administration», and a rental company has «Rental company dashboard». Production has its own bottom bar: «Orders», «Products» and «Calculation». More details are in the article about the header and «More». The interface language is changed in «More».

Good to know

  • Coupon packs are bought in the app through the store once the store has opened the packs («Balance» → «Purchases in the store», article «Balance and wallet»). Subscriptions and top-ups by card stay on the website. You can always view the balance, the history and the prices.
  • The app offers boards, plans, 3D, presentations, production, chats, «Do it for me», and the dashboards of a rental company and of an administrator. The set of tools is gradually being matched with the website: if a tool you need is not in the app, open it on the website.
  • If a photo does not upload, check that the app is allowed to use the camera and photos in your phone settings.
  • The app asks about push notifications right after you sign in; which of them arrive is chosen in «More» → «Profile» → «Notifications» (article «Push notifications on your phone»).

Studio and projects

The studio home shows recent materials, upcoming projects and tasks. Pull the screen down to refresh the data.

«Projects» has search, working projects, the archive and the trash. The «+» button opens the passport of a new event: name, date, venue, client and description.

Inside a project you have the passport, the preparation stages and the project's visualizations. A new visualization started here is linked to this project. Editors can change the passport; the owner can archive and restore through the actions menu.

Signing in from your phone

The app offers sign-in by email and sign-in by phone number, if it is turned on in AURA. You can paste the SMS code from the system suggestion above the keyboard. A repeat SMS or a call is available after the pause that the app shows.

For a new number, after confirmation enter your name and email and accept the current documents. If that email is already taken, the form suggests signing in by email. Registration by email also requires consent to the documents.

In the project passport the date is chosen with the phone's system calendar. The «No date» button leaves the event without a set day.

In your profile you can confirm a number for SMS sign-in and unlink it. Unlinking asks for confirmation and keeps sign-in by email. Administrators sign in with email and password.

Frame setup from your phone

In «Products» you can add your own product: name, category, several angles, sizes in centimeters and shape features. Each product needs at least one picture. The limit of angles comes from the server; the overall limit counts the catalog, your own angles and references together.

In «Options» you will find guests, a quick concept or the final, light, angle, image technique, format, venue sizes, additions and text wishes for the layout and the light. Tap «Ready» to apply the options. The final uses photorealism and an eye-level angle.

The layout plan is added as a separate image. The plan may reduce the available limit of product photos. Before the launch the app checks the limit again.

The setup is saved to a cloud draft automatically. Open «Library» → «My templates» to continue from the web version or another device. The original photo and the plan are restored together with the settings. While a saving error is visible, do not close the app: save again once the connection is back.

A new generation starts only with the button in the frame setup. Returning to the waiting screen continues checking a job that has already been created.

If the wallet is on, the price of the mode and the available balance are shown before the launch. For a project, the cost takes its terms into account. The balance, history, top-ups and prices are in «More» → «Balance».

Drafts across devices

In the frame setup menu you can rename the draft, save a copy or start a new draft. The old setup stays in the library. Changes between screens are saved automatically; the status is shown under the name.

If the draft was changed on another device, the app does not overwrite it. Save a copy of your changes or load the cloud version after confirming.

Choose a saved venue through «Venue → Venue from my library». Its sizes and plan take part in the frame setup. In the plan section you can turn off the venue's plan or replace it with your own image.

An unsaved setup is also kept on this device together with the original photos and the plan. After you sign in to the same account again, the app restores it and tries to save it to the cloud. An error status means other devices have not received the changes yet.

Team and purchases

In a project open «Project team». The owner invites members, chooses their rights and available options, sets generation limits and revokes access. The link is passed through the phone's system menu; an invitation is kept until you sign in and is accepted with a separate button in the app.

In «Balance», «Generations and purchases» shows the quota, packs, purchases and history. «Balance» also has the balance, the operations filter, details of top-ups, prices and the set of tools. Turning off auto-renewal asks for confirmation.

The finished visualization

The result opens the option chosen as the main one on the server. The download button takes exactly that frame.

«New visualization» first saves the current draft and opens a new setup in the same project. If saving failed or there is a conflict, the transition does not happen: save again or resolve the conflict in the frame setup.

Swipe through the options horizontally or switch them with the arrows under the frame. The arrows help you move from a video to an image for downloading. The main frame opens first and becomes the cover. An editor can change the name and tags through the result actions, and can also pick a different main frame.

«Before and after» shows the original photo of the venue next to the chosen result. «Compare options» lets you pick two finished frames and open one of them. The option's contents list the products, quantities and rental cost.

The owner can move the result to an existing or a new project, or remove the link. Deleting the whole generation asks for confirmation and deletes all of its options.

«Download image» opens the phone's system menu: save the file or choose who to send it to. This is not a publication in the shared library. Refinement, client approval and publication are opened with separate result actions.

In the mobile app you can watch the result's video right in the app: start it, change the position and open it full screen. The clip is started manually and is muted at first. You can turn the sound on with a separate button. When you change the option, leave the screen or minimize the app, playback stops. If loading fails, tap «Retry». Downloading a frame applies to images.

In the mobile app, tap the result photo to open it full screen. Spread your fingers to zoom in and move the photo with one finger. The «Enlarge» and «Decrease» buttons change the scale, and «Whole photo» brings back the entire frame. Tap «Close» to return to the options. When you leave the screen or minimize the app, the view closes; the original image does not change.

The language of the system video player follows the app language in the iOS settings. Russian, English and Spanish are supported; changing the language inside the profile translates the AURA interface.

Tasks from your phone

Tap the «Tasks» icon at the top or «All tasks» on the home screen, or open «Project tasks» inside a project. Search, filters by list and status, and the tasks assigned to you are available.

Open a task to change the description, status, assignee, priority, due date and reminders. Dates and times are chosen with the phone's system controls. You can add a checklist and links to materials. After the task is saved, the discussion is available.

If a colleague has already changed the task, the app keeps your edits in the form. Loading the current version replaces them only after confirmation. When you leave with unsaved edits, the app also asks for confirmation.

Task templates are on a separate screen: save a preparation plan with relative due dates and roles, then apply it to the project you need.

Profile and email

Open «More» → «Profile» and tap «Edit» to change your name, company and contact phone. The contact phone does not change the confirmed number for SMS sign-in.

In the email section you can request confirmation, enter a new address or cancel a pending change. The new address takes effect after you follow the link from the email. Go back to the app and check the status.

Active devices

The devices section shows the current and the other sessions of the account. You can end a chosen session or all other devices, keeping the sign-in on this phone. Ending the current session will require signing in again.

Language, appearance and notifications

In the app settings you choose Russian, English or Spanish. The choice is saved in the account.

In the mobile app open «More» → «Profile» (language and theme are there too). The light and dark themes apply at once; «Like the device» follows the system appearance. The theme choice is stored on this device, while the language is saved separately. Photos, layout colors and printed sheets keep their original look.

In «Profile» → «Notifications» you choose pushes by category (article «Push notifications on your phone»), and you can also connect Telegram, check the status and disconnect after confirmation. Finish the connection in the bot and return to the app. The link is valid for a limited time.

Catalog and decor selection

In «Library» (Production and Floristry have their own «Catalog» tab) you get search, categories, sorting and filters by style, price, availability and sets. Open the filters in the bottom panel. From a product card you can go to the catalog of its company.

The card shows photos, sizes, price, availability, description, the contents of a set, and similar and complementary products. Service and inactive items do not open as available decor.

«Add to frame» changes the selection of the current draft. The venue, plan, your own products and the other settings are kept. If saving fails, the selection stays on the device and the app shows an error. Adding does not start a generation.

In the wizard the catalog takes the date of the project's event into account. A product being available does not mean it is booked or that a rental request has been sent.

Task files on your phone

Open a saved task and the «Task files» section. Attach images and documents up to 10 MB, at most 30 files per task. The members of the task list can see the files.

Tap a file to save it through the phone's menu. The owner can delete any attachment, an editor only their own. Before deleting, the app asks for confirmation. A task attachment does not create a public link and is not added to the studio library.

Task calendar

In the tasks of the studio or a project choose «Calendar», then month, week or day. Tasks for today are open first. Tap another date to see its tasks. «All days of the period» brings back the overall agenda, and tasks without a date stay at hand.

The «Task for this day» button creates a task with the chosen due date. Search, status and «Only mine» are in the «Filters» bottom panel; the list choice stays on the screen. These settings apply in both the list and the calendar. With view-only access, adding is not available.

Lists and members

In the list picker tap the settings button next to its name. The owner and an editor change the name, the description and the linked project. Only the owner invites members, changes roles, revokes access and deletes the whole list.

An invitation is addressed to a specific email, and the role can be «Editor» or «View». Access to a list does not open the materials of the linked project. If the email was not sent, the app suggests passing the link through the phone's menu.

To accept an invitation, open «Accept invitation», paste the link and check the email of the current profile. Accepting happens after you tap the button. Deleting a list removes all its tasks, discussions and attachments for the members and asks for confirmation.

Refining a frame

On a finished result tap «Refine image». You can describe the edit in a dialog or choose a precise adjustment, mark an area with your finger and attach products. The cost is requested before sending, and the original option is kept. Details are in the article «Refining an image: how to describe the change».

Checking and handing over the result

On a finished result check the final frame against the checklist. The confirmation applies to the chosen version of the image. After the frame is changed, the check has to be done again.

«Send to client» creates an invitation for a specific email with the chosen finished frames. If the result is not in a project yet, the app offers to create a project. Pass the link through the phone's menu. The invitation is valid for 7 days; you can revoke it in the app.

Publishing in the library opens the frames to the AURA community after your confirmation. This is a separate action, not a client invitation. Original photos and materials are not published automatically.

With material sharing turned on, you can check the contents of the set, confirm your rights to the sources and choose free sharing or a price. Turning sharing off does not take the sets back from those who already received them.

A full regeneration of a personal visualization deletes the previous options and the refinement history after a separate confirmation. The price is shown before the launch. If the response was lost, check the result first: the app does not resend a paid request automatically. For a visualization in a project, use frame refinement.

Sign-in and nested screens

In the mobile app all nested screens of the personal sections open after you sign in. After signing out, the app returns to authorization; help and public links keep their own access mode.

Continue your work from the home screen

In the mobile app the recent materials on the home screen open their own screen: a project, plan, task, document, visualization, quote, board or presentation. «First steps» suggests the nearest unfinished action; the block can be hidden for your account on the device.

From «My tasks» you can open a task, mark an available task as done or add a new one. When another member changes a task, the app reads the current data. Tap a stage in a project to choose its tools.

Help on your phone

In the mobile app the «?» button opens the guide for the current screen. The knowledge base offers search, a section filter, the chapters of an article and related guides. A training screenshot can be opened separately, enlarged and scrolled. The «All guides» button returns to the general list.

  • Help shows only the articles available to your account. If an article is not available, the app suggests choosing another guide.

The project's next step

In the mobile app the project overview shows the next step calculated by AURA from the project's contents. The button opens the right tool on the phone. «Later» suggests another step and keeps the project's materials.

The next step is at the start of the project overview. The full list of sections opens through «Project tools» in the bottom panel; after you choose a tool, the panel closes.

App icon

In the mobile app the icon on the home screen and the launch screen use the AURA brand mark. Look for the app by the name AURA and the light mark on a dark background.
