How to prepare an event decor concept in AURA
A step-by-step workflow for decorators and event designers: a brief and venue photos, an idea board, AI visualization, floor plans and seating, an estimate and client approval.
Reviewed:
Start with the brief and the real venue
Collect the date, event format, guest count, budget and venue constraints. Prepare photographs from several viewpoints and actual measurements. A visualization presents the decor concept; measurements and guest numbers are needed to check the floor plan separately.
Create a project and save your source materials in it. Collect references, a palette and selected items on the idea board. Distinguish client preferences from decisions already approved.
Create an AI visualization of the decor
Upload a venue photo, add catalog items or your own images and describe the intended decor. Specify the placement and number of key items, colours and lighting. A frame style changes the presentation of the image; it does not replace placement instructions.
- First create an overall view that communicates the concept.
- Compare it with the original venue and selected items: check shapes, quantities, circulation space and proportions.
- Refine the relevant area with a local edit and save suitable options in the project.
- AI can make mistakes in geometry and details. An image is not a measured floor plan, a construction drawing or confirmation that an item is available.
Check the floor plan, seating and estimate
Enter actual dimensions in the floor plan and arrange the furniture. Seating and the 3D view help discuss the layout, but final dimensions and installation requirements need to be checked with the venue and contractors.
In the event estimate, collect items by section with quantities, units and prices. Separate rental, fabrication, installation and logistics. For decor fabrication, use the production tools available to your account: item components, material calculations, estimates and workshop tasks.
- The catalog rental price per day does not automatically include delivery or extra services. The rental company confirms availability, dates and the final cost.
- Tools and access to individual directions depend on the account. Check current prices on the pricing page and before starting a paid operation.
Present the selected materials to your client
Choose the relevant visualizations, plan and estimate. Use the available ways to show them to your client: an approval link, a presentation or an export. Check the included materials and access permissions before sharing.
After receiving feedback, update the selected version and record approved decisions in the project. Then move to purchasing, production and installation using verified dimensions and quantities.
- Help is available without signing in, in Russian, English and Spanish. Share an article link with a colleague; choose the language in the interface or with lang=en or lang=es in the URL.
- Public instructions describe the tools. They do not expose users’ photos, projects, conversations or documents.
