Shapes, lists, tasks and other elements

How to use it

1. Click «+ Add» on the tool rail, open the «Elements and templates» tab and choose a type: «Hand sketch», «Shapes», «Emoji», «Icon», «Palette», «List with bullets», «Checklist», «Table», «Mind map», «Task card» or «Flip card». A rectangle can also be placed with the S key.
2. Edit the fields of the added card. In a checklist, tick off completed items; in a table, fill in the cells.
3. To connect objects, click «Arrow» on the toolbar (or L), then point to the start object and the end object. Esc cancels the mode.
4. For freehand drawing, turn on «Draw» (P), choose a pen or a marker (Shift+P), a color and a thickness. The eraser (E) erases only the part of a stroke it passed over: the rest stays as strokes of their own, and the whole erasing of one movement is undone with one «Undo». To draw a scene on a separate sheet and make a photorealistic picture from it, choose «Hand sketch» (the article «Hand sketch and a photorealistic picture from a frame»).
5. «Board templates» (the button at the top of the «Elements and templates» tab, or Shift+T) open ready-made sets of elements. On an empty board there is a «Use a template» link. After inserting, adapt the set to your project.

Icon

1. In «Elements and templates», press «Icon»: a grid of 40 icons opens, as for «Shapes» and «Emoji». Among them are icons for events: a table, a chair, a stage, light, flowers, a cake, a glass, rings, the entrance, the exit, the restroom, the cloakroom, the dance floor and more.
2. Find the one you need by name in the search field or pick it with the arrows and Enter. The icon appears only after you choose it, in the middle of the free part of the canvas, so you see it right away. On a phone the add sheet closes by itself.
3. To change an icon, select it: on the dark bar over it press «Change the icon» and choose another one in the same grid. The grid is in the «Options» panel too.

• The caption under the icon is kept when you change it; only the symbol itself changes.

Good to know

• Adding an element and choosing a mode work differently: a sticky note is created right away, while drawing waits for you to move across the canvas.
• The eraser does not delete photos, sticky notes or shapes: select them and delete them as objects.
• Task cards and mind maps help organize the work; they do not send invitations or change members' permissions.

Elements on the phone

Shapes, arrows, lines, palettes and material cards are available through adding. Sizes and rotation are set in the properties. A screen with limited rights shows only the materials issued by the server.

Removing the background on the phone

Save the board and open the parameters of a reference or a catalog product. Tap «Remove background».

A PNG preview appears first. The card image changes only after a separate apply. Then save the board or cancel the local step. The original file is kept.
