Presentation: build and design the slides (beta)

The editor turns visualizations, the live floor plan, the studio's 3D models, the estimate from the event budget and the project materials into a story for the client, from the idea to client review. «Create with AURA» makes a presentation from a prompt and files in four steps: chat, questions, slide-by-slide structure and design. This is a beta version, open to every account now.

Beta version, open to everyone

Presentations are still in beta. Since 8 October 2026 they are open to every account, new ones too, no invitation needed.

If an AURA administrator closes the beta again, access stays with people whose email is on the beta access list and with administrators.

  • If the «For the client» step has no «Presentation» card, your email does not have access yet. Write to support to get it enabled.
  • Going straight to the editor without access takes you back to the project with an explanation. Saved presentations are not deleted and will open again once access is enabled.
  • Links already sent to clients work for everyone: the client sees the presentation and can leave feedback even if the studio's access to the beta is closed.
  • Besides the invitation, the project owner must have the «Presentations» module enabled. The studio's brand kit belongs to presentations and opens together with them.
  • If you find a bug, open the «More actions» menu in the editor and choose «Report a problem». A support request opens with the subject «Presentations (beta): a problem».

Create with AURA: a presentation from a prompt and files

  1. Open «Presentations» and press «Start» in the «Create with AURA» block, or choose «Create with AURA» in the «⋯» menu of a project's presentation editor. The wizard opens: the chat with AURA on the left, the «Structure» and «Design» tabs on the right.
  2. Step 1, chat. Write what the presentation is about, for example «make a clear presentation for the course students from the attached lecture», and attach files: DOCX, PDF, PPTX, TXT, spreadsheets and pictures, up to 8 files of 25 MB each. Choose a project or create a new one. In «Take from the project» tick what AURA may read: the brief and passport, the concept and documents, visualizations, the board, the estimate, the timing. Press «Send to AURA».
  3. Step 2, questions. AURA reads the material, writes in the chat what it understood and asks with buttons how many slides to make («Short», «Medium» or «As full as possible», with the number of slides beside each) and, when the material does not say, who the presentation is for. You can write your own answer or press «Skip».
  4. Step 3, structure. Cards appear on the right: one slide, one card. How to edit them is in the «Structure: editing slide by slide» section.
  5. Step 4, design. Press «Approve the structure», choose a design in the «Design» tab and press «Create presentation». The line above the button says how many kulons will be charged.
  6. AURA makes the slides one by one: the chat shows «Making slides · 3 of 19 ready», each slide appears in the «Slides» tab as soon as it is ready, and grey placeholders stand where slides are still being made. While the build runs, the chat field waits.
  7. The finished presentation is saved as the project's presentation. If the project already had one, AURA asks whether to replace it: the previous one stays in the project's version history.
  • Reading the files, the questions, the structure and edits with words are free, up to 80 AURA messages a day. «Create presentation» costs 1 kulon per slide (the cover is a slide too), «Redraw» 2 kulons for the whole presentation. The project owner pays, and the price is shown before the start. If AURA did not answer and the slides were made from the cards as they are, the kulons are returned.
  • «AURA concept structure» (a tick on the first step or in the question) lays the material out in the chapters of an event concept: cover, brief and task, venue, audience, insight, idea, visual language, guest journey, zones and visualizations, decor and variants, table setting and floristry, programme, branding, technical part (floor plan, estimate, timing), team, closing. A chapter the project has no data for is left out, not invented. The volumes differ here: «Short» 12–18 slides, «Medium» 25–35, «Full» 40–50.

Structure: editing slide by slide

  1. A card has the kind of slide (cover, section, text, text and photo, full photo, two photos, gallery, columns, numbers, quote, table, closing), a title and text. Write points on new lines, columns as «Heading: text», numbers as «120 guests», a table as rows with cells separated by «|».
  2. «Speaker notes» are not shown on the slide; they go to the notes of the PPTX.
  3. Slide pictures: «From the project» picks up to four frames, photos, plans and models of the project, «Upload» adds your own photo, «AURA will pick» means AURA chooses a picture of the project at the build, «No picture» removes it.
  4. Change the order by dragging the ⋮⋮ handle or with the «Up» and «Down» arrows. «+ Slide after this» adds a card, ✕ deletes it.
  5. Edits with words: write in the chat, for example «merge slides 4 and 5» or «add a slide about the budget», and AURA changes the cards. Card changes are saved automatically.

Design: classic, creative and «My style»

  1. The «Design» tab has two sections, «Creative» and «Classic», with 12 designs each. Filters: «All», «My styles», «Light», «Dark», «Tender», «Bright and bold», «Minimalism», «Business».
  2. Point at a card and it turns its slides: the cover, a section, text with a photo, numbers and two frames.
  3. «My styles» → «New style»: upload the studio's own template (PPTX, PDF or pictures of slides). AURA takes its palette, fonts, capital headings and graphics and saves the style. «Always use this style» makes it the default for new presentations. Reading the template is free; the file itself is not kept.
  4. After the build, choose another design and press «Redraw the presentation»: AURA lays the slides out again in the new design.
  • Choosing one of the earlier templates in the editor removes the AURA design from the presentation.

A vertical presentation for phones

If the client will look at the presentation on a phone, make it vertical, 9:16. Its slides are made for a phone screen: the picture on top, the text below it and larger, columns and figures one under another, tables and estimates narrow with large type, a gallery as 2 by 2 tiles.

  1. You can choose the format in two ways. To AURA's question «Will the client view it on a phone?» press «Yes, vertical for phones». Or in the «Design» tab, above the gallery, switch «Horizontal 16:9» to «Vertical for phones 9:16»: the design cards show their slides upright at once.
  2. All 24 designs work in both formats: the colours, fonts and motifs stay, only the layout changes.
  3. Press «Create presentation». The price is the same, 1 kulon per slide.
  4. A finished presentation can be turned too: in the «Design» tab switch the format and press «Redraw presentation». It costs the same as a usual redraw. Elements moved by hand on the slides go back to their places when the format changes.
  • The PDF of a vertical presentation has 9:16 pages, and the PPTX opens with 9:16 slides in PowerPoint and Keynote.
  • On a phone the client swipes through the slides full screen from the link: the page stops at every slide, and a tap opens the show.
  • The presentation editor and the app show vertical slides upright, in the same layout.

Edits with words, the previous version and files

  1. After the build, write in the chat what to change: «replace the title», «shorten the text», «use another picture», «make this slide numbers», «delete slide 7». «This slide» means the slide open in the «Slides» tab.
  2. «Restore the previous version» above the slide brings back its version before AURA's last edit. You can also ask for it with words.
  3. PDF and PPTX are downloaded with the buttons above the slides. The client link, full-screen show, manual layout edits and the version history are in the editor: the «Open in the editor» button.

Memory: wishes of the studio and of the presentation

In the «Memory» tab on the left AURA keeps your wishes: the tone, words to avoid, what to always add. Wishes «For this presentation» apply only to it, «For all» to every new presentation of the studio. AURA adds there what you ask it to remember in the chat.

AURA takes the studio name and its closing call to action from the «Studio branding».

How to build a presentation

  1. In the project, open the «For the client» step → the «Presentation» card («Open the presentation» or «Create presentation») or click «Show the client» in the project header: the editor opens full screen with its own top bar. On the left is the arrow back to the «For the client» step, next to it the project name, the presentation name and the save status: «Saved» or «Saving…». On the right of the bar is the Aura Guide icon. A finished frame, the floor plan and the «Hall in 3D» also lead here with the «To the presentation» button.
  2. In a new presentation, click «Create presentation», and the editor builds a story from all the blocks that have data. «Choose blocks» opens «Presentation scenario»: choose a ready-made scenario («Sample», «Short» or «For the venue»), tick blocks if needed, arrange them with the arrows or by dragging, and build.
  3. On the left are numbered slide thumbnails. Change the order by dragging or with the arrows in the slide's row; the same row has copy and «Remove». «+ Slide» under the thumbnails adds a text slide.
  4. In the centre is the open 16:9 slide. Under it is the «Project materials» strip: visualizations, the floor plan, the estimate, uploaded photos and snapshots from the «Hall in 3D». Clicking a material or dragging it onto the slide places it on the open slide; a material dropped on «+ Slide» gets a slide of its own. «All materials» opens the full list with search, checkboxes, plans and 3D models.
  5. On the right are three tabs. «Layout»: slide layouts as pictures («Large photo», «Two frames», «Frame with a close-up», «Before and after», «Gallery» and others), the slide's texts, the photos on the slide and cropping. «Style»: the style of this slide, the design and theme of the whole presentation, the brand kit, colours, logo, fonts, the transition between slides and what the client will see (purpose, cover, prices). «AI»: refining the slide's text and design, and a graphic background with AI.
  6. Under the tabs is the «Rebuild from the project» block: «Update slides» opens the scenario and takes the new visualizations, plan and estimate. The new slides replace the current ones or go to the end, and the «Restore removed slides» button brings back the replaced ones.
  7. Open «Check before sending» in the «More actions» menu and fix what the check found.
  8. The presentation saves itself a few seconds after an edit: the top bar says «Saved» or «Saving…», and the «Save» button appears only if saving failed. «Show» opens a full-screen show from the current slide, «Download» gives a PDF for the client and three kinds of PPTX, «Client replies» (with the number of open replies) opens the «Client feedback» panel, and «Show the client» opens the «How do you want to show the client?» window (the article about showing the client has the details). If the window is narrow or this is a phone, «Show», «Download» and «Client replies» are at the top of the «⋯» menu, and the bar keeps «Show the client» and «⋯».

All of the studio's presentations

  1. «More» → «All tools» → «Presentations» (the «Beta» label) gathers the presentations of all your projects. Above the list are the «Find a presentation or project» search, the sort order and the «Cards / List» switch. On a card, «Open the presentation» leads to the editor and «Back to project» to the project itself.
  2. Click «New presentation». In the «Where to create the presentation» window, choose a project («In the project «…»») or «A new project for this presentation» and enter the «Project name». Click «Create presentation»: the presentation editor of the chosen project opens, and the presentation is built from its frames.
  • Each project has one presentation: it holds the project's frames, plans and estimate. If the project already has one, that one opens.
  • If the beta is closed for your account, the page shows «Opens by invitation» and the «Open documents» link. If presentations are not included in your plan, you see the presentations of projects you were invited to, and there is no «New presentation». Presentations are part of the tool set: enable it in «More» → «Balance» → «Tool set».

A concept from a document

  1. In the project's «Documents», create a document from the «Design concept» template (or name it «Concept …»). Instead of «Create», two buttons appear: «Make a presentation» opens the project presentation named after the concept, and «Create as text» creates an ordinary document.
  2. For a concept already written as text, click «Open as presentation» above the document: the latest edits save themselves first. Each section (a heading and the text under it) becomes a text slide at the end of the project presentation.
  3. Check the slide texts, add frames from «Project materials» and save the presentation.
  • Lists are carried over item by item, tables row by row joined with «·». Pictures from the document are not carried over to the slides: place frames from the project materials.
  • A section that is already in the presentation word for word is not added a second time. If the presentation does not have room for all the sections, the editor tells you how many did not fit.
  • The presentation lives in the project. A document from the «Studio knowledge base» cannot be made into a presentation: choose a project in the «Where to store» field. A document from another project is not added to this presentation.

Scenario blocks

The scenario follows the order of a live meeting with the client: cover, idea, palette, overall view, before and after, details, floor plan, 3D models, estimate and client review. Later you can open it again from the «More actions» menu → «Rebuild the presentation» and replace the slides or add new ones at the end.

There are three ready-made scenarios. «Sample» tells the whole story in order. «Short» suits a first meeting: idea, three frames, estimate and client review. «For the venue» gathers overall views, the floor plan, 3D models and the estimate for the venue and contractors. After choosing, you can turn blocks on and off and move them.

  • A block without data stays grey in the list, with a note next to it on where to get the data.
  • «Idea» takes the description from the project card: the first sentence becomes the heading, and the rest goes into the slide text. If there is no description, «Sample» puts in an «Idea» hint slide with questions about what to write; the check before sending will not let the hint reach the client unreplaced.
  • In the «Palette and materials» block, colours are taken from the photo of the main visualization and named in words, for example «sage» or «ivory». Colour codes are turned on with the «Show colour codes» checkbox. Next to them are up to six decor items with catalog photos: from the main frame, or, if it has fewer than three such items, from the project frame that has the most.
  • «Overall view» starts with the main frame on the whole slide, then the frames alternate: «Two frames» side by side, then «Frame with a close-up» (a wide frame with a close-up of the decor in the corner), and again one large frame.
  • «Before and after» puts the venue photo next to the visualization. It needs a visualization created from a photo of the hall.
  • The «Details» block shows your photos uploaded through «Import PDF/photo», or, if there are none, close-ups from the visualizations.
  • «Floor plan»: plans linked to the project appear in «Project materials» as a separate group. The slide draws the whole plan: the hall in its proportions, object labels, dimensions in metres, a scale bar and named colours, with the caption «60 seats · 9 tables · hall 14 × 22 m» under it. The slide always shows the current version of the plan: edits on the plan page appear in the presentation, the PDF and the link by themselves. The «To the presentation» button on the plan page opens the editor with this plan. Plan images uploaded earlier also work if the file name contains «plan» or «seating». Guest names written into seats are not passed to the client by link: the slide counts seats and does not show names.
  • The «3D models» block shows models from the «Items in 3D» section. Those placed on the project's floor plan are marked «On the floor plan» and go into the scenario first; you can tick the others in «Project materials» by hand. The slide shows up to four models with names and dimensions («450 × 500 × 900 mm»). An uploaded GLB has no picture: the model's owner clicks «Make a preview», and the editor saves a view of the model. The block appears in the scenario only if the studio has models. The studio's models and the budget are offered to those who edit the project; a project member with view or comment rights sees them only if they are already on the slides.
  • The «Estimate» block takes data from the project estimate (the «Estimate» card of the «Preparation» step) if it is filled in: line items with quantity, price and amount, a single total and a «Within the budget» line when the estimate fits into it. Suppliers, links, notes, actual costs and payments are not shown to the client, and neither are lines without a planned amount. Without a budget, the estimate is built from the option's calculation: items, prices and the total per day. The source is changed on the «Layout» tab → «Estimate source». The block is available when «Show prices» is on.
  • «Client review» shows the answer deadline and the next three steps. The deadline is set no later than two weeks before the event and no further than a week from today. The client can approve the concept right from this slide.

Frames, texts and colours

  • A frame fits into its box according to its shape: a vertical one is not cut into a strip, and a panorama goes across the full width. If the box would cut off a noticeable part of the frame, it is shown in full on a calm background.
  • Cropping is changed on the «Layout» tab in the «Photos on the slide» section: «Automatic», «Show in full» or «Fill the frame». «Closer: frame detail» zooms in on the chosen part of the picture.
  • A slide layout with photos is chosen as pictures on the «Layout» tab: «Large photo», «Two frames», «Frame with a close-up», «Before and after», «Gallery», «Text next to photo», «Showcase with captions», «Large text» or «Automatic». «Before and after» is available when the visualization was created from a venue photo. In «Frame with a close-up», the «Horizontal image center» and «Vertical center of image» sliders and «Closer: frame detail» control the close-up; it needs a wide frame, and a vertical frame or a panorama keeps the usual arrangement.
  • A long heading wraps by words; prepositions, numbers and dates are not separated from their words. If the text still does not fit, it is cut off with an ellipsis after a whole word, and the «Text does not fit» label appears in the editor.
  • The studio's brand colour is checked for readability. If text on it is hard to read, the design takes a darker or lighter shade of the same colour, and the check before sending will tell you so.
  • The studio's secondary colour fills slide panels only if «Accents and panels» is chosen in the «Brand kit». By default, each design keeps its own palette.
  • To rewrite text right on the slide, click «Edit layout» and select a heading, caption or text: a dark panel appears above it with the text's name, size, alignment, colour and the «Rewrite with AI» button. AI prepares a suggestion on the «AI» tab, and the slide changes only after «Apply to slide».

Check before sending

«Check before sending» finds what could let you down in front of the client and gives a button to jump to the right slide.

  • «Fix»: deleted frames and unapproved frames in the final version for the client. While they remain, you cannot get the link or the file.
  • «Check»: cut-off text, a frame cropped more than usual (more than 15 % on the sides or more than 20 % at the top and bottom), a picture that does not load, and unreplaced hint text from «Sample». These items show up by themselves before a link is created («Send for approval» in the «How do you want to show the client?» window) and before «Download PDF»: you can go back to the slides or continue.
  • «Tip»: a frame smaller than 1600 px on a full slide, a brand colour changed for readability, and an estimate from the budget that exceeds the client's budget.

PDF and three kinds of PPTX

  • The PDF is an exact copy of the slides with embedded fonts. It is the best file for the client and for printing.
  • The full-screen show, the PDF and the PPTX use frames at full size, not the reduced copies from the editor. The floor plan is drawn anew for each file and stays sharp.
  • In the PPTX, the text can be edited in PowerPoint and Keynote. The fonts are replaced with Arial and Georgia, which every computer has, and the lines are laid out again for them, so the text does not spill out of its boxes. It looks a little simpler than the PDF.
  • PPTX like the PDF: each slide is inserted as a picture, exactly as in the PDF, and the slide texts are in the notes. It suits a show when no edits are needed.
  • PPTX with brand fonts suits a computer with Manrope, Cormorant Garamond and PT Serif installed. Without them, the program substitutes another font and lines may wrap differently; Quick Look on a Mac also shows this substitution.
  • Texts cut off in the layout are written out in full in the editable PPTX.

On a phone

  • On a phone, the editor shows the slide, the project materials and slide thumbnails under it, and the «Layout», «Style», «AI» panel at the bottom: a tab opens from below, one at a time. The slide order is changed with the «Earlier» and «Later» buttons.
  • A client opening the link on a phone sees a feed: slides one under another, and under them, in large text, the headings, the names of colours and materials, the estimate as rows and the «Approve the concept» button. A bar with the answer is pinned to the bottom of the screen: «Like» and «Changes needed» for the slide on screen (for the estimate slide «Approve the estimate») and «Ask a question». Tapping a slide opens it full screen; turning the phone makes the slide larger. The studio's contacts (name, phone, email, website and social network) are shown once, at the bottom of the page, rather than repeated under the last slide.
  • The page behind the link uses the studio's brand colour: buttons, links and slide numbers. The colour is checked for readability in the light and dark themes; a client's request to change a slide is always highlighted in amber so that it cannot be mistaken for approval. «Made with AURA» stays at the bottom of the page. Above the slides are the studio's logo and name, the project name and the «What we need from you» line.

Good to know

  • Showing, downloading and publishing need at least one slide. An empty presentation makes these actions unavailable.
  • The client gets none of the following by link: speaker notes, working tags of visualizations, guest names from the floor plan, suppliers and budget notes. Only what is drawn on the slides.
  • Slides, speaker notes and internal details serve different purposes. Check «Open as client» before sending the link.
  • The design is chosen from five designs («Editorial», «Premiere», «Art poster», «Botany», «Minimal») in a light or dark version; the studio's fonts and colours are set in the «Brand kit».
  • «Import PDF/photo» in the «More actions» menu adds pages of a ready-made presentation or your own photos; they go into the project materials. Snapshots of all views arrive there too with one button, «View snapshots to the presentation», in the «Hall in 3D».
  • Through the link, the client reviews slides, asks for changes, comments and approves the whole presentation. You read the replies with the «Client replies» button in the top bar: the «Client feedback» column opens on the right. «What the client saw» (the statistics) and «Presentation history» are in the «More actions» menu.
  • Previous versions of the presentation are kept in the project history; you can restore them from the editor.
  • If the project owner's tool set has run out, the presentation stays open for viewing, export and the client link, but slide changes are unavailable until the owner renews the set.
  • The event estimate is never put on a slide as a picture. A new presentation leaves it out while prices are hidden. Add it with «Add estimate» next to «Show prices», with «Estimate» in the materials strip or with «Create presentation» with prices: it becomes a slide of its own, «Event estimate».

Presentations in the mobile app

In the mobile app, open «Presentations» in the studio library or «Presentation» inside a project. You need beta access. One presentation belongs to one project. For a new one you can choose an existing project or create one.

Add the project's images, plans, estimate, photos and PDFs. A tap selects an element on the slide, dragging moves it, and the bottom right corner resizes it. The properties offer exact sizes, text, order and hiding. Choose the design, fonts, colors and cover in the settings.

From a saved project document, the «Create presentation» button turns the concept sections into slides. Save the document edits first. Imported materials are not added as slides automatically, you choose them separately.

Changes are saved with the shared version of the presentation project. If a colleague changed it, your edits stay on the phone. You can load the current version or explicitly save yours over it. If the result is unknown, refresh the data first.

Export opens the phone's system menu: PDF, PowerPoint for Office, branded PowerPoint or slides as images. Branded editable slides require the same fonts on the recipient's side. The images option keeps the look and puts the original text in the notes.

The public link shows the latest saved presentation. For the final client showing, approved images are used. The client can approve a slide, suggest a change or request a rental from the estimate. The request does not book the items. Replies and views open in the studio's presentation.

In preview mode a view is not counted in the statistics. The presentation link differs from the published document: the document shows a snapshot of the chosen version until the next publication.
