Partner ads in AURA

Some places of AURA may show offers of partners: production workshops, 3D printing shops and material suppliers. Such a block is always labelled «Ad» and shows the advertiser's name and the erid number. A partner gets your data only if you send it a request yourself and tick the consent. Models from the rental catalog are never sent.

What the «Ad» label means

A block labelled «Ad» is an offer of a company that pays AURA to be shown: a maker of furniture and structures, a 3D printing shop, a print shop or a supplier of finishing and floristry materials. Next to the label you always see the advertiser's name and the erid number: this is how the advertising law requires every impression to be labelled.

AURA shows such a block only when the partner has been checked and switched on and its offer suits your city. While there is no suitable offer, there is no block at all: no empty frame and no placeholder.

Where offers appear

  • In the card of a 3D model and in the «For 3D printing (STL)» window.
  • After a model is downloaded as STL, OBJ or DAE.
  • On the «Estimate» tab of a Production order: the «Have it made by a partner» button.
  • On the «Overview» tab of a Production order, under «Client's brief and files»: a partner who will make the stand from this brief.
  • In the 3D scene on the «Finishing» panel, «Material» tab: «Suppliers' materials» with a price per m² next to the usual materials.
  • On the «Purchasing» tab of an order and in the «Florist's calculator»: «Suppliers' offers» with the «Request» button.
  • There are no partner offers in the cards of the rental catalog or in place of rental items.

How to send a request to a partner

  1. Press «Have it made by a partner», «Ask the supplier» or «Request» next to the item you need.
  2. Check your name, phone and email, enter the city and write what needs to be done.
  3. If needed, tick files under «Attach files»: your own 3D model, your own files of the order's brief or an extract of the estimate without prices.
  4. Look at the «What the partner gets» line: it lists everything the partner will receive.
  5. Tick the consent and press «Send request». The partner will contact you using the details you gave.

What data the partner gets

  • Without the ticked consent the request is not sent. AURA keeps the text of the consent and the time you gave it.
  • The partner gets your name, phone, email, city, comment and only the files you ticked. The files open by the links in the email for 30 days. If you delete a file from the project, its link stops working.
  • Only your own 3D models and the files you uploaded yourself can be sent. Models from the rental catalog, the library and the marketplace are never sent to partners, and the estimate extract has no prices and no rental rows.
  • Showing an ad tells the partner nothing about you: the partner only learns the number of views and clicks, without names. Your client and the project members get nothing.
  • The «Partner's website» link opens the partner's site. From there the rules of that site apply.
